Anyone else trouble booking fastpass Jan 1?

Tonight is my booking window open date. Successfully booked for all days of our trip except day 6, Jan 1. We leave the 2nd so I am wondering if its because of the year change? I'm trying to book AK, so not terribly worried, but looking for feedback. Of course, I will call in the morning, but I still would like to have the basics hammered out tonight considering the week and crowds. I am also booking for 8 and that's a factor too.

Just FYI, we are there the 27th of Dec to the 2nd of Jan and I had no issues booking (for a party of 8) anything we wanted and with plenty of time availability. I was so surprised!

To book Dec 27-Jan 2, you will need 7 day tickets. Do you have 7 day tickets linked to your MDE account?

If the party of 8 is the issue (and that very well may be, since Jan 1 will likely be a high crowd day), try booking 4 and 4 with overlapping times, such as 9-10am for 4 people and 9:15-10:15 for the other 4 people.
