Anyone else totally disgusted with SATC?

I don't know about you, but I am a totally dedicated fan of Sex and The City, have been one ever since Season One premiered and my sorority sisters and I would actually skip chapter meetings when a new episode was on. I own all the seasons that are out on DVD, and don't you DARE call my house on Sunday nights when I'm hanging out with Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha!

SO, here's the rub. How in the heck are they going to finish all the unfinished business in THREE measly episodes?!?! I HATE "the Russian" and will absolutely die if Carrie ends up with him! The rest, I'm okay with. Charlotte and Harry, I LOVE. Steve and Miranda, they're great. Even Samantha is ending up with a wonderful guy, cancer or not! But if Carrie and her Manolos walk into the sunset with that Keebler Elf instead of Mr. Big, I swear I will set fire to my DVD's and never watch HBO again!

Considering that the author ended up with a man connected to the arts - the NYC Ballet - I would bet she ends up with the Russian.

I absolutely hate it. And now they are trying to make him the tortured artist - PLEASE! I just hope that Carrie eventually talks to Big and finds out he moved to Paris. Hoping that is the reason she goes there.

Rumor also has it that there are only 3 at the last coffee shop scene. I think that will totally suck!

This is just *my* opinon.

I "see" the last 10-15 minutes of the ending with Carrie at her computer. However, it will be many, many years in the future. Carrie will be reflecting back on her lives and those of her friends.

I love the show too. I wish they'd go on for another season or two.

I'm really enjoying these last few episdoes, last Sunday's was great!

I don't like Carrie and Alec together. Blech! He looks more like her father than anything else.

I'd like her with Big or nobody! I think she may end up going to Paris for Alec's art show, and run into Big there, maybe Big finds out she is going there and goes there just to run into her on purpose, but who knows!

Should be interesting!

On Feb. 22nd, the last episode, HBO is airing an hour "special" beginning at 8PM with interviews with all actors/actresses! Can't wait for that!

i don't mind her with the russian, really. i think he's ok. plus after the last time she and big got together he was so nice and then he went back to his old ways. i don't think big deserves her.

I like the Russian. With all her neuroses, he still wants to be with her.

I hope she gets the best of Big in Paris and rides into the sunset with her artist.

The only thing I didn't like about the last episode was the whole dog show thing. That was weird.

I have to 100% totally agree with you! I will be horrified if Carrie ends up with Alec. Why in the world have they been pulling us back and forth with Big and OUR emotions, why end it without him? I hate that! If Carrie and Big doen't end up together or alone, like you I will set fire to my DVD seasons!

I just don't buy the Alec storyline because they have nothing in common, they don't make sense together.

I am however satisfied with the rest of the characters at the moment. I could sleep happy with Charlotte/Harry, Miranda/Steve, and Samantha/Smith riding off into the sunset.

I wouldn't mind seeing Charlotte and Miranda getting Pregnant by the end of the season, and Samantha and Smith getting Married. But that would just be an extra cherry on top of my sunday.

Another vote for Big. I can NOT stand the Russian. She does indeed look like she is with her father. And, the way she keeps referring to him as "The Russian" - he does have a name. I just think she belongs with Big...however, they said they filmed 4 different endings so it's really up in the air.

how do we know that Big Moved to Paris? I don't remember them saying that in the last episode. Maybe I missed that.

If he is in Paris, I'm pretty sure she will have a meeting with him there, since she just finished taping the final episode in Paris!

That would make the above reference to the empty seat in the coffee house scene true since she would be in Paris and the girls would be in NYC.

I don't mind The Russian for now. But I want Carrie to wind up with Big. I'm still really enjoying the show, though. I'm so sad that it's ending. Oh, and BTW, I can't imagine them ending it with Carrie anywhere but NYC. The city has been like a 5th character in the show.
