Anyone else told no dues on 2019 RIV points, and then get a dues statement?

Do you current own already direct? If so, you cannot choose another use year at any resort. Once you’re direct you will always have the same use year regardless of when and where you buy direct

Not true. You can buy any UY you want, If you already own one, the new UY will be a new membership, and you would have to meet the minimum for new members, but they will sell it to you if that is what you want.

I think there is some kind of rule, if you buy enough to meet the new membership amount you can choose any use year, but if you buy say 25 points, it has to be associated with a current use year you own.
