I wouldn't say Tony's is awful, I just don't think it's memorable.
As for Italian cuisine, you can prepare the same at home with a jar of Prego sauce. Tony's seems more like a chain Italian restaurant than what was once considered a Disney signature diing experience.
The best meal Tony's ever had was their breakfast. I wish they would bring it back.
This definitely sums up our feelings on Tony's. We have had dinner twice and were unimpressed with the food both times. But we loved the atmosphere and service and I do love Lady & the Tramp.
We are going to try lunch next trip and avoid the red sauce. Hopefully we will get a table outside to people watch. If not, it is nice inside as well.
