Anyone else teetotal?

I'm curious I've been teetotal for years now and was just wondering if anyon else here abstains from the drink at all?

I have a very occasional drink, like one every couple of months but I could totally abstain from alcohol easily. It just doesn't taste very good to me.

I also do not drink any alcohol.

I have never found anything that I liked the taste of and because of that I didn't see any reason to try to like it.

I prefer Pepsi.

I don't like it either. Occasionally I'll have wine, but it mostly dehydrates me and makes me feel kind of gross.

I've always idly wondered if all the waiter/waitresses we've had serve us think I am pregnant when my DH orders a glass of wine (which he almost always does) and I order a Pepsi.

Pretty much. I'll have maybe a half a glass of wine once a year. I just don't like the taste. I also would rather have a glass of Pepsi or Ginger Ale or Iced Tea. It also is much less expensive to eat out if you don't drink!

I usually will have a wine cooler or two once a year at DH's Fireman's Festival. I don't really care for the taste of alcohol. Dh isn't a drinker either... since we have been married (almost 13 years) I have only seen him drink about 5 times. We just don't feel the need.

It's been a partying year if I've had a total of 4 drinks. I don't care for alcohol or the effects of drinking. I don't have any issues with people drinking responsibly but I have a real distaste for drunks.

I lost the taste for alcohol after giving it up during my pregnancy nine years ago. Now even when I'm on vacation, I'll get the non-alcoholic foo-foo drinks, and even had one bartender ask why. Now my only vice is Diet Dr. Pepper and peanut M&M's.

I have not had any alcohol since 1997; I drank very little before that, too.

I've had one drink, in 1989, since 1984.

The summer of 1984, I was broke and getting poor grades in my sophomore year of college. Quitting drinking went a long way toward eliminating both problems!

I don't drink at all. Just don't like the taste and wine gives me a huge headache (and I don't really like that much either). I actually am a teatotaler....my favorite thing is a cup of hot tea. The only other thing I drink is water and occasionally iced tea or lemonade.

Not 100% but I could, easily. I hate beer, but I will have the occasional fruity mixed girly type drink. But if available, I prefer soda.

I will drink Mead though.

Non-drinker here. DW also. Tasted wine & champagne but never beer. Like someone else said, I prefer (diet) pepsi.

Non-drinkers here as well. It is a rare, and "special" occasion that DH will have a mixed drink or something like a wine cooler or Smirnoff Twisted. My limit is wine coolers, but they give me a headache. I've tried wine, haven't found one that appealed to me - and I don't actively go seeking one out. My former boss used to serve champagne every Christmas at our luncheon, but that was the extent of my alcoholic intake, about 1/2 a glass.

I had one drink on the Disney cruise this year, one drink at a party last year and a drink on the Disney Cruise the year before that...keep it up and I will have to go to AA soon LOL.....I don't like drinking but I am REALLY tired of being stuck as the designated driver! Any party I am at I usually hear "will you take soand so home, they had to much to drink"...grrr......

Ok, call me dumb but I had no clue what "teetotal" meant! So I looked it up: Teetotal

Anyway, I have had maybe 2 full drinks in the past 5 or 6 years. But that's because I've been pregnant or breastfeeding most of that time span. I think I've lost the taste for alcohol as well. I just don't want it. Not that I drank a lot before, but I did drink beer and mixed drinks at parties. Now, I like the virgin version (say that 10 times fast!) of some mixed drinks, like pina colada!! YUM!!

I rarely drink at all, and don't like the taste of beer. I have maybe one drink every other month or so. I haven't had a drink in about 6 months though.

I'm a Diet Coke/Pepsi girl myself. I maybe have a couple drinks a year? If that. I really don't like the taste of alcohol.

I don't drink. I am 24, and I have actually never tasted an alcoholic beverage. I have just never had the desire to drink. Plus, I am so addicted to Diet Coke I don't have much time for other beverages, LOL!
