I'm just seriously stressed out about dining. Yes i know its free, but for some reason i have put so much into what we'll eat, when, where etc. My family LOVES to dine out so this is actually something everyone looks forward too.

I have on my list (all dinners)

Spoodles
Cali Grill
Crystal Palace
Ohana
Kona
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
50's PT

I keep reading bad reviews for CR (i cancelled our Chefs de France for CR since its my sons bday) and honestly the menu looks a bit sparse. My hubbys not a big fish fan. I really want to enjoy this meal. 50's PT is getting very mixed reviews. Even Cali grill is getting put on the "worst meal" list!

The only places im not worried about is Kona, Ohana (we likey meat lol). I'm just afraid i have built things up so much i'll be disappointed!

I've also thought about changing them again. Like changing Crystal palace to Liberty for lunch....50's PT to MM"s and CG to Artist point.

ugh. ugh. a bit over a month and i'm starting to wierdly panic.

I'm starting to stress a bit over CRT, getting there in plenty of time (8:10 AM ressie on a Sunday), getting OUT in time (10:15 checkin for Family Tour, but if we get seated late because of a bus issue . . . ) and just the plain bad reviews. BUT, the DD6 has never been in the castle before and we'll likely not get her in there again before she outgrows it to an extent.

Le sigh.

Look at the menus on line and decide if there is something on there that everyone will eat. I printed out the menus for the places I'd chosen and gave everyone (even the kids) copies and asked for feedback. As a result I changed one of the restaurants since the kids didn't see anything that they'd really want to eat there.

When you spend so much time and money (I know you are doing free dining, but your whole trip to the world, I'm talking about) it is natural to want everything to go well. I think you hit the nail on the head, when you said you didn't want to be "disappointed".

I think you've picked some great places, so go and enjoy them. If you're at Coral Reef, and you don't like the salad dressing or something, just look at the big fish tank, and focus on that!

HAve fun!

I think you will enjoy it, apart, from the food the enviroinment with the tanks is great. The only thing I would say is that the portiosn are not as big as some places.

I totally agree! I have planned and rethought everything 50 times. My 2 cents I would keep Crystal Palace, it is a beautiful restaurant with a great buffet. You may want to read the Coral Reef review on the Dis home page it is hilarious. I am stressing out because I changed 1900 Faire to Boma. I think it will be great, but I need to find a place for princesses!
Good Luck :wizard:

I used to have dining anxiety - but then I decided to just get over it. :rotfl2:

Seriously, I was getting stressed because ADR's with good times are getting hard to come by and I have to use these dining credits. And I was afraid I would waste them on bad food or run out of the right kinds of credits. I mean, what if I only had TS credits left and I needed CS credits or vice versa? Or how would I know when to make an ADR? What if I was still at Concourse Steakhouse and I could hear the sounds of Spectromagic or the EWP floating by and I was missing it waiting on creme brulee???!!!

I tried to explain all this to my DH, but he just looked at me dumbfounded.
So I made some ADR's and I'm sticking with them and not worrying about it one more time. Here's where I'm eating:

Narcoossee's
Crystal Palace
Marrakesh
Concourse Steakhouse
Boma

And yes, I wanted to eat at LeCellier. But I can't - no ADR until my bedtime. And I never eat steak right before bed. :confused3 So maybe I'll save the creme brulee for a bedtime snack one night and watch the EWP from the beach at the WL and not worry one more time. No more dining anxiety for me.
