Anyone else stuck in blackout dates??!!!

We're in the black out dates too - 10/12-10/17. Keeping fingers crossed a room discount or something comes out. Have to wait and see.

Am I crazy to hope if I'm in a black out week that maybe some people will cancel their plans now and the crowds will be lighter.....one can hope right?

Just called Disney and she said I had a pin attached to my name for 25% room (mod) and to call tomorrow to apply it....not as good as FD but it is something, she also said if something else comes up better I could call again.

well I have been playing around since yesterday trying to decide to switch or stay where I am, yesterday I found a great deal at POFQ for about 1200 with FD but I would have had to change dates, my flight would be more expensive plus cancellation fees to change flight too, a savings yes but huge pita, this morning I go on there that deal is gone totally and they are up to 2082 with FD, NOW I just went on to see if i could just switch to POFQ and there are no rooms period, and I did a search for Oct 15-22 and NOTHING no rooms at all value, mod or deluxe, think that's a glitch in the system?

Had to of been a glitch. Just did a search for those dates at POP and there was availability.

ya it was, POFQ still isn't available though, I got in and did some more searches some more saves etc............ sigh
