Anyone else still waiting on W-2's?

still waiting on 1 from my company and they will wait till the last minute to send them out... :furious:

We got one of ours. Still waiting on Disney and my old job, and dh's 1099. I am worried about getting them in the near future b/c our mail is still so back logged down here.

I am still waiting for all of mine. I still get the refund quickly even if I wait until the first part of Feb. to file.

Sadly, yes. And we could sure use that (tiny) refund. My old boss is off in Africa somewhere. She was a bit of a flake. I hope she managed to get someone to take care of them in her absence.

My company is great, starting last year they make ours available online. You just go to a web site, log in and print it. I have had mine since January 15. Unfortunatley my wife works for a school district and I am sure we won't get hers till the last minute.

DH & I have both of ours. We are still waiting on a K-1 which we won't get until late March or April DH is the only one in the Corp that doesn't file an extension so the Accountant is never in a hurry to get them to us. We are also the only ones that do are own taxes.

Got the W2s. Waiting on my 1099, plus something from DH's cashing out of his pension stuff from previous job.

DH is getting 4, and we have 2 of those. I get 3, and have not gotten any of them yet.

Still waiting on 1099's and both my and DH's W-2's. Companies legally have until Jan. 31 to mail them out, and my company always waits until Jan. 31. It's frustrating.

I've got everything but DH's w-2. They always send the late, mid-February or so. Yes it's illegal but they don't care!

I can't book our Disneyland trip until I can run his w-2 through Turbo Tax. If we get a refund or break even, we can go. If we owe, we can't. And I can't book it until we know!

Grrrrrr! :furious:

Still waiting on our W-2's, and quite a few 1099's.

Don't worry, I used to work in a tax firm and only 20% of people file before April 1. Even if you wait until later in February to file, you should still get your refund very quickly (especially if you E-file). It really doesn't start to backlog until the end of March.

Use his 12/31 paystub and run those numbers through. It should be the same numbers you'll get on his W-2. I would wait until the W-2 comes to officially file, but in the meantime you can at least get your return done. :)

Still waiting impatiently. We got our mortgage and escrow statements, 1 of Dh's so far, my company waits until the last possible day, drives me nuts. They do everything else on-line, I wish they would offer that too.

We haven't gotten DH's W-2, and if that was all that was missing, I could use his 12/31 paystub to at least estimate where we stand. However, we also haven't gotten a lot of 1099s, especially from my mutual funds. I hate to file early, because for the past two years we've gotten amended 1099s from at least two companies.
