Anyone else still having problem with DisBoard app?

I have also deleted the app and just use Safari for access.

If they won't respond to these threads with an update, everyone please review the app in the App Store, with an explanation. Maybe they will respond to that?

Yup, everyone has trouble with it. I deleted the app, since it never worked properly. There have been NUMEROUS threads about it over the last few months, with no response from TPTB.

I was about to delete the app and then I noticed that it was showing the number of notifications I had, and if I opened and just hit "subscriptions" (along the bottom) it immediately takes me to my subscribed threads and works like a charm. Also hitting "current" takes you immediately to current posts with no lagging etc. But, as we all know, if I click on "forums" I get stuck in la la land.

I understand your frustration. We've let the company know about the issues. The problem on our end is that the app is not controlled by us. It's a company called ForumRunner that turns forums into mobile friendly apps. We're hoping they figure out the problem soon and fix it.

thanks Corey hope it gets fixed soon and make some needed improvement i use disboards more on mobile devices than i do on my desktop.

I really thought it was just me! Glad to hear I'm not the only one having problems. I almost exclusively use my iPad. I was about to give up DIS all together.

It's working now -but it's been a problem(on and off) for a while.. Hope it will continue.....

There's a forum app out there called Tapatalk that I use for a number of other forums without problem. Perhaps the DIS could look into making the forum available on that platform.
