Anyone Else Start Making A List For Xmas?

I just started writing down little things I'd like to get DD and DS this year . . .

DS big gift will be Playstation 2 (finally, its only been what 3 years since it came out?)

DD - not sure on a big gift yet . . .

DS has started on what hes asking Santa for.

I havent started yet, but since we are going away to WDW on 12/20 for 9 days, I want to be sure to be done asap this year. My plan is to start it after our August trip, once the kids go back to school. I hope to be done before December starts. Too much going on this year.

I have already told everyone that there will be no presents this year as we are spending Christmas at WDW.Of course as they see things down I will buy a few for them to open on Christmas.

I had gifts for mom, dad & Aunt by January!

I ordered some stuff for DH's birthday a few weeks back and put some of it off to the side for Christmas.

I really don't have all the much shopping to do!

I've started the list, and finished about half of my shopping . I like to try to just have "extras" left to pick up by Thanksgiving. Otherwise, I have a hard time relaxing and enjoying the holidays. I still go out on Black Friday though (it's a sickness I tell you ).

DH and I have a few ideas about what we'd like to get our parents from DS, but that's about it. Not sure what we'll get DS...he'll only be 6 mths old.

I shop all year long. That way there is not the last minute rush with the last minute credit card bill to boot.

I've thought about it a bit - and set aside the money in a seperate acct, but haven't actually started shopping. We are spending 11/29-12/5 at WDW with my family for my sister's wedding so we won't be exchanging gifts on my side of the family. That makes it a little easier.

I am so glad that I am not the only one that has been doing their christmas shopping already. I have even bought a bunch of ornaments at the Halmark shop. This year I started a notebook and had a page for everyone and as I bought things I added it to their page. In the past I would forget what I had bought in Janurary for people.
