And, yes, I'm devastated to see summer end. My heart just sinks at the thought.

Not me. I am tired of heat. My a/c bills are too high. I am ready for some cooler weather, high school football, and shorter days. (Ok I am 2 months away from the possibility of cooler weather, but at least high school football starts this week)

I hate to see summer end. I love the relaxed pace, and the nights without the homework stress. Last year DD was working on homework until at least 9:00 p.m. every night, in summer she can relax. We will be closing the pool in about another month, that really means the end of summer around here. I was born in Texas, and raised down south and I HATE Wisconsin winters!!!

This year, more than ever before, I am dreading the end of summer. I have one more week left of freedom from textbooks, papers, tests, and no sleep from procrastination until June, 2003. It is so depressing.
