Hi everyone. The olympic games just finished here in London which was great! Got SSR in October to look forward to now :-)

Just wondered if anyone else has makes a note of all the rooms they have stayed in at WDW? We have sad I know! I even have recorded the stateroom numbers of the Disney cruises!

So far we have stayed in 5 rooms in SSR and 2 on the Disney dream, 1 in Port Orleans and 1 in Dixie Landings.

Yes, I always take a photo of the room#....they go in each WDW scrapbook I make.

If we have a villa that we loved, we jot down the number, but otherwise we don't.

Yes, I keep track of our room numbers, both DVC villas and other Disney resorts. I take a photo of the room number and insert the photo in a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet shows the dates of the trips, number of nights at each resort, number of points used if applicable, and comments about the room, such as the view, floor, etc. Here are our two latest additions to our spreadsheet:

One thing I've come to realize about Disney: No matter how fanatical someone may appear about Disney, there is always someone who is even more fanatical.

I love it re taking a photo! Thank you for sharing that with me! I wish I had done that I will from now on. I could of course when going back in october go back and take a photo of each room from the room numbers I have. If you hear of a British woman being escorted by security for taking photos of other guests rooms you know what has happened lol...

The past few trips I haven taken a picture of my kids in front of the door with our room number. I am sorry I didn't start doing it with their first trip!

We take pictures of our room numbers every trip also.
We have actually stayed in one room at Kidani twice.
I usually request a pool view standard view so maybe that increases the odds of getting the same room.

I did wonder if anyone had been allocated the same room twice! We like to stay near the paddock pool at SSR in an accessible room so that might increase our odds!

...add me to the list of people who take pictures of the room numbers on each and every trip.

In fact, not only do I take pictures of the room numbers, I take pictures of the rooms when we first check in (when it's newly cleaned....before we "settle in"). All common areas, bedrooms, and balconies (including the surrounding views) get documented. Even if it's the same room type/category in the same resort (but on different trips), I take pictures.

Great idea about taking pictures of the kids in front of the room doors. We'll have to start doing that.

I am not SAD, but always try to record room numbers (yes, even on cruises). I have all sorts of logs. Oh, does it help if I am an accountant?

Absolutely yes. I also have resort maps that I keep track of blgds we have stayed in, with note of which I likes and didn't. It helps me when making future requests.

We take a photo of the room number too! Glad we aren't the only ones!:goodvibes

Yes I keep a record of room numbers along with a little note on the spreadsheet of the pros and cons of the room. On my last trip we spent the first three nights of our trip at Kidani and agonized over whether I should make a room request (not good track record in having them met) and decided to go with the roll of the dice. When we checked in I realized I had gotten the exact same room as our first stay at Kidani, a perfect spot close to the elevator, 2nd floor etc!!!

Wow!
Now this is impressive...

I take pics and scrapbook them but that's it.

I do this exact same thing as well (along with some other real geeky things that my wife rolls her eyes at). We have stayed in the same room twice (8018 at BLT).
