anyone else planning for nov/dec 2005 ?

Hi!

We are planning on a 7-8 night stay at the Poly (our first "stay")in early Nov 2005...no exact dates yet. I am already obsessively planning every detail including meals. We will be going to the California Grill at least once for dinner, DDs want to go to Cinderellas castle (at age 16 & 18!) and 50s diner, we are planning on the dream maker plus gold add on so the meal planning is FUN (for me) Actually my family is getting REALLY tired of all of my planning since it is 18 months in the future!

I don't have a counter because I don't actually know how to add one (embarrassing but true, I am a computer klutz)

Hope everyone is having as much fun reading the DIS, the guidebooks and planning as I am!

Do you already have your tickets for 2005? We were told you cannot purchase them till sometime next summer.

My honey is considering going back to school, so a lot of what I want to do depends on what her schedule will allow for at that point. I want another trip next year in early December, much like what we did last year.

I need pixie dust and a :mickeybar!!!

We will be there the 7-8 nights the 1st week of December. I am planning on either Pop Century or POFQ. It really depends on how much money we save. If I can I'd love to talk my DH into a 10 day trip because I'd like to visit Universal also. I went to MVMCP and CP last year and we loved them. Those are definites, but other than that everything else is up in the air. LOL

We'll be there too. Dec 10-19th I think?
Can you buy the MVMCP tix yet as was just mentioned????? We went to that last Dec and it was just about THEE most magical thing we had ever experienced there! We're Minnesotans and LOVED the "snow" they had rather than our wet stuff! BUT it was about 40 degrees that night for the late parade and D*MN it was COLD even for this Minnesotans that was TRYING to brave it in shorts and a t-shirt! Had to buy a blankie!

NOTHING like WDW at Christmas time OR the vicer versa, Chistmas time at WDW!:hyper: I don't think we'll EVER go at another time of year again!

Hi,

We are going Dec 24-Jan 1, 2005 for Christmas. We will probably stay at CBR or POR.

Thanks,

We're planning a trip with our children and grandchildren and a few friends in November 2005. We'll be there Thanksgiving week.

Haven't reserved our rooms yet. Probably stay at All Star Movies.

We stayed at CBR this past May. It was wonderful. Just my hubby and I.

We're staying at WL for one night after our cruise next year, so we'll be there New Year's Eve 2005/2006. We won't have park tickets, just DQ tix, so that's how we'll be spending the day.
Does anyone know if anything special happens at the resorts themselves at the stroke of midnight? I was thinking of staing at the Poly so that we can see the MK fireworks from the beach, but the WL is so beautiful at Christmastime, more traditionally Christmassy I think than the Poly.

Any opinions?

Dh and I wil be there mid-Nov. No dates yet. It is our 20th anniversary so just the two of us!

I am thinking a couple of days at AK concierge so we can do the safari and then the rest of the time at the GF.

Our family so far is staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in a savannah view room December 3-17, 2005. My wife wants to split the trip between this one and another resort like GF, WL or Poly , or maybe two of these resorts but we will see.

DF and I are planning our Fairy Tale Wedding and Honeymoon for 11/29/05 - 12/9/05!! :lovestruc

It's his first trip to WDW, and my first trip in 18 years. I don't remember much so we will get to explore everything together!

We plan to have the ceremony at the Poly, then reception at the WL and are making plans to stay at the Poly then BWV.

I am sooooooooooooo excited I can't even stand it! Look how many days I have left and this is all I can think about or talk about!! Thank goodness for the DIS boards, and my mama for introducing them to me! I now have a place where it's not only accepted, but expected to be this excited this far out!

I hope everyone has a great trip! :flower:

Our daughter got married at the Yacht Club 7 years ago. It was beautiful.

I know you'll be extremely thrilled.

Our vacation isn't that much ahead of yours and we talk about it every day.

Best of luck!

Just got back from our trip that was cut short from Hurricane Frances. It was supposed to be for two weeks and got cut to one week. Oh, well. The only cure for that is to start planning the next trip!:p :Pinkbounc

We are planning on being there Nov. 26, 2005 and staying for 14 nights probably two different places (2 bedroom condos) off-site.

I can't wait!! Oh, how I wish it were this year. We will buy AP's so we can come back for more in 2006. This is a disease, I'm tellin' ya! My mom and sisters think I'm nuts. Fortunately, my DH is sick along with me!!:teeth:

We are planning now!!!!

We are going down Thanksgiving day 2005 and will stay until the following Tuesday. Leaning toward either the WL or the Poly depend on the rate (if any apply)?

Finally going to share Disney with a friend/neighbor/ & fellow Disney freak! I can't wait!
