Anyone else planning for March 2011?

I'd love to obsess...uh, I mean talk, to other people planning for March 2011! We're going to be going (myself, DH, DS and DD) with my mom and neither DH or my mom is anywhere near being excited because "it's too far away." They love it when they're there but are lacking that love of planning gene.

Not me, I'm already excitedly pulling together rough money estimates, etc. Tenatively we'll be there March 4-12!

Yes, we are going for my grandaughter's Spring Break next March. I will be able to make our reservations (at OKW) next Mon. We will be going 3/12-3/19. We have 2 trips scheduled before then but I am still excited about next March, too!

We are planning our next trip to WDW in March 2011. We will celebrate my DD's 16 birthday there. Can't think of a better time to plan a sweet 16!

We will either be at WDW a few days before or after our cruise, which leaves 2/27 and returns 3/4

We will be there we think March 6-12 we are not sure where we will be staying either. It will just be DH and I celebrating our anniversary. Since we are DVC and we are wanting to try a different resort then our home ones so we are going to wait until 7 months out to decide where we will stay.

Yes I am starting to think about going Feb 26th - Mar 8th. We are trying to get a group together to go. We will also spend time at Red Sox spring training like we did this year. No ressies made yet.

We're looking at the week of March 6 too, but I'm concerned about Spring Break during this time. Colleges are off during this time, but will school-aged kids be out then or closer to Easter in April?

You know, my oldest is just starting kindergarten this year, so I'm not that knowledgable as far as school calendars, when breaks are, etc. I naively assumed spring break would be closer to Easter, even though it's quite late next year. But looking at some school districts around us (though the one my son will be in hasn't posted ours yet), most of them are doing spring break in late March, like the last week of March-April 1 and then just doing Good Friday off in April.

If that's the case, I wouldn't feel right taking him out of school for a week, then have him off for a week in the same month for spring break, so I guess we'll be looking at dates again.

Any idea, in the past, when Easter has fallen so late, are the crowds typically early/before Easter because of early spring breaks or is it more crowded when it's actually Easter? We were originally looking at early May, but moved it up when we saw the date of Easter. Maybe early May wouldn't be bad now, if spring breaks are so early??

Our district must have just posted the calendar in the past few days since I checked, because I was just able to pull it up. Our spring break is March 28-April 1. Out for the year June 2.

I'm totally confused now as to what would be best! I had no issue at all pullling my son out of Kind. for a week, but feel weird doing so if he's got another week off that same month...dang it, back to the drawing board.
