I am planning a surprise trip this Oct. for my DH's 30th bday. I am dying to talk to him about all the plans! Anyone else out there in the same boat and having a hard time staying quiet? 43 days to go! :hourglass

MEEEEEEEEEEE! i'm planning a trip at the end of september to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday and she has NO idea what her daddy and i are up to! we have tickets, room (at POP) and an ADR at Epcot for the princess storybook lunch (couldn't get CRT for breakfast, which was what i wanted). i SO wish i could tell her, she's going to be so excited! but her look when we go through the entrance at WDW will be worth my anguish!

Me three! My third anniversary with my husband :) We are going oct 13 and going to the MNSSHP 2x and Halloween Horror nights too!!!

Can't wait!

Jess :cool1:

We are suprising our DS with a trip 12/25-1/1. It will be the last present he opens Christmas morning.

I am surprising my DD who is 3 1/2. She has been asking for months when she can go back and see Minnie and one of her little friends who live up there.

We are going 10/4 - 10/7 and I am not going to tell her until we are in the car. I know it won't mean much until we get there though.

:teeth:

Meeeeeeeeee! We leave Friday. My DH and I are surprising our 2 girls 5 & 8. I am ready to BUST!!!! I can't believe I have kept the secret. It is KILLING ME!

Me! We're surprising ds with a trip to WDW for Christmas. We'll be there from 12/22 - 12/28. His dad is a pilot, so we're going to tell him that we're going for a plane ride... then we're going to catch a flight to WDW!! ;)

I am planning a surprise trip too for my DH!! It's been very hard not to say anything to him. I want to so badly, but I want to surprise him more!

WOW! I am glad that I am not alone! I just kicked my Dh out of the room and told him that I needed to check my email in private!lol :rotfl: I am going to call his work and ask then for the time off. I hope it will work out! I am having a surprise party the night before we leave, i am planing a card that says now that you have turned 30 you deserve to have some questions answered, i am working on the questions but the last question will be" You have just turned 30 what are you going to do?" and of course the answer will be "I am going to DisneyWorld" Stupid or cute? I would love to see the faces of all the lucky kids who are being surprised! We all must stay stong!lol :rotfl:
Must Keep vow of silence!! 41 days to go!! :hourglass

Me too me too! I made the reservations July 22 and we leave Thursday. It's just me and the kids and they have no idea. I'm so excited! The closer it gets the closer I get to spilling the beans. I have this elaborate guessing game for them to play the morning we leave so they'll know where we're going. I said 'we're getting up early and going to Chicago' and well, we are, or at least to O'Hare. Now they are all excited about "going to Chicago", hope WDW is good enough :rotfl:

Same here. We are leaving Thursday for 7-nights at the WL. My two DD (10 & 7) have no clue. they think we are going to my in-laws in Boynton Beach. We will go to the gate and instead of it saying West Palm Beach...it will be for Orlando! They have no clue...They don't think we are going back until November of 2006. I cannot wait..not telling them has been brutal. :rotfl2: :cool1: :cool1:

Crelange, How are you telling them?

This is our first family trip to wdw...with ds 6, dd 4 1/2, and dd 20mos. We are obviously surprising the older two...I've been getting kicks telling the baby we are going to see Pooh...I've got to tell somebody! :rotfl: My older two have no idea...keep telling them we can't go to Disney until the baby is in preschool...3 years away! We have planned to surprise them when my ds gets home from school by telling them that we have to take dh to the airport (he travels a LOT).. and then open the van with the blue disney bags from disney direct and tell them, "we thought instead of Daddy going to Germany, how about we all go to disney instead!" I think my older dd is going to be crazed! :Pinkbounc We have dinners, pirate ride, perfectly princess tea party, CRT, Crystal palace, hoop dee doo, and 8 nites at the WL! I'm crazed just thinking about it..and today marks 45 days till we leave....counting them down! :earsgirl:

Planning a surprise trip for DD9----MNSSHP, CRT, Character meal with Minnie! This has been way hard not telling her. Hopefully school personnel won't spill the beans! She'll miss a couple of days of school & I haven't figured out how to get her to complete her homework before we go (per school rules)! :confused3

Hmmmm---you guys are giving me devious ideas. Let the planning begin!! If my DH has no clue of what's going on, it will be soooo much easier to get this together. My problem will be keeping the secret--that's gonna kill me.

We suprised my DS this last trip and it was so much fun. We told him we were going to Texas (where our layover was). When we got to Houston I headed to our next gate (he thought we were going to get our bags) and when we reached our gate I said I was really tired of walking and wanted to sit down :rotfl: I told him I was going to ask the flight person at the desk how much longer the walk was to the bags (really I was just making sure flight was on time, we were at the right gate, ect) when I went to sit back down I pulled out a print out that had a fun saying (can't remember now) from Mickey Mouse inviting him to WDW . It was a riot.. He was SO excited :Pinkbounc All the people in the gate area had no idea what was going on. :teeth: I can't wait to do it agin - although this time he might be a little more wise to my planning

all of the plans I have read are so much fun! Now I can't wait to have kids so that I can do this again with them! I almost broke down and told my mom last night but I held back. I am buying things for the trip and his party and hiding the stuff in my mickey bag that DH bought me the last time we went to wdw. He never goes in my closet let alone go into my bags/purses. Only problem left is getting the mail first, I have been out of work since Aug 1 and I go back tomorrow, hopefully he won't notice if he brings in the mail. We are going to MNSSHP 10/6 but I can't also do a surprise costume so I bought him an orange shirt and I will look around for some Halloween shirts. everyone on this thred will have to be sure to report back how your surprise went. :goodvibes 40days ( I think)

Us too! We are planning a surprise trip for out boys for Christmas. Although keeping it a secret has proven more difficult then I anticipated due to broken promises. I am so excited for them, the other day they took out videos from our previous trips and hinted at how much they wanted to go back and how they are willing to forthwith their b-day gifts along with Christmas gifts for the trip. DH and I both had a hard time keeping each other from spilling the beans.

We are going to tell them by doing a scavenger hunt on the Christmas morning. Each hint will have something to do with our trip, like a match box car with “On January 11 you will be traveling to BOS! Can you figure out what this is?” after they solve that there will be other hints will the final “present” being the entire itinerary with park tickets.

 secret being kept here... 8 days until we leave my dh and i have kept this secret for 2 months! it was a last minute decision to go. we are going in November for Thanksgivivng but we are travelling with family so it was a great suprise for us to plan a quick trip for just the 4 of us, i feel like i a going to burst! aahhhhh!!!!!! i told them we were going to the airport to pick up my friend who is a flight attendant on SWA, i told them he is coming for a visit for labor day weekend, we are putting our backpacks in the car the night before, we figured we dont need much it is a 4 day suprise trip!
I CANT WAIT!!!!!! :rotfl2:

  Me Me Me...We are taking the kids for Christmas. Here are the plans so far...We still need to have a tree and open presents as I have 2 that still believe. :goodvibes Christmas Eve we are going to give them their big gift...we never do this, but the only non stop flight I could get leaves at 11:15 :earseek: ! Thankfully my kids are morning kids! We are going to give them their packing list and I think their new name badges. We will pack that night and go to sleep to wait for Santa to bring a few gifts. This is the best part though. We are staying offsite and the kids will think we are leaving 1/6/06 with a lunch at Whispering Canyon. While there I am going to see if they want to do a tour and they will find out we are staying for 2 more days in the DVC that I told them was only for DH & I to use. Think they will like their gift??? :teeth:
