Anyone else off for the long weekend?

I am and am so looking forward to it! It's been a week from hell here at work and I REALLY need the time away. I'm hoping we can take a nice ride through New England this weekend. Maybe even the YC flagship store in MA. Anyone else have any autumn-like plans?

We're going to see Nemo on Ice tomorrow - that should be fun!

I'm really looking forward to Monday . DH and I are both off but the kids are in school ALL day!! We're planning lunch and a movie. It's been a long time since we had time alone .

Oh, bummer...this is one of the holidays that we use at Christmas time. So, no three day weekend. But, I've just realized that dh has a 3 day weekend--he probably doesn't even realize it. He has a hard time with the minor American holidays!

My DH and my 2 DD's all have the day off, while I have to go to work. Plus they get 4 days in November compared to my one!

My son is off on Mon and Tues and since I just absolutely, positively couldn't find anyone to keep him, I had not choice but to take those days off so...4 day weekend here I come!!!!

Me, too! It's the only day of the year that I'm off and the kids have school!! Altho, I figure they'll take it away before I get to retire... Columbus? Columbus, who?

we use to have columbus day off- but now we have the day after thanksgiving off.

It stinks this weekend, but on Thanksgiving week its nice!

What long weekend? Actually, I'm working a temp job next week and DS has school. It's even on their school calendar! Full day on 10/11.

Our kids were off Thursday and Friday for parent /teacher conferences and then off on Monday. Our district does this every year.

It makes for a nice long weekend. We have been able to go to WDW for 10 days and only take the kids out of school for 3 days!
Not this year, though .

We are all off on Monday and going to "The Pumpkin Patch." It's always a fun day.

Nope. I'm working 12-hour day shifts Saturday and Sunday and an 8-hour evening shift Monday.

But...

Tuesday morning we head the van South for a leisurely drive and arrive at WDW Thursday for eight days!

We have a long weekend here in Canada as well. It's called Thanksgiving!

I've had a week from hell at work too, so I'm looking forward to my 3-day weekend. I have so much to do at home though, that it may not be relaxing...or, I can always just blow everything off and just chill. That's sounding more and more like the way to go.
