I don't care for them-they are just too loud. If they weren't so constant and the volume was a bit lower, I wouldn't mind so much. The Marvel one was not for me-at all.
I just think there should be a reasonable alternative for those who prefer to have a more relaxing meal time. Not pool food or room service.
The sit down option at Cabanas was really perfect. Quiet. The same food as the main dining rooms - although not as much choice. Limited hours but you could eat when you wanted - I think between 5 and 7?
Go ahead and have the shows! Just give folks a choice besides chicken fingers and soft serve for dinner.
I like one show on a cruise but not every night. We also enjoy dinner time to regroup with family and friends and talk about our day and plan for the next. I'm hopeful that on the longer itineraries on the new ships we will have quiet dinners also. I'm sticking to the older ships anyway as we prefer them but do want to try the Treasure just to see the interior design.
We haven't done them yet but am looking forward to Coco, not excited for Marvel. My main concern is my son is really noise sensitive and I'm afraid he's going to be stuck wearing noise cancelling headphones all dinner. We requested 1923 for 3 nights and plan on skipping a Marvel dinner when we go on the Treasure this fall. I'm interested to see if our opinion changes after actually going lol.
I haven't been on the Wish class ships yet- but I LOVED the dinner show on the Magic. Rapunzel's Royal Table was fantastic and Animator's Palate has always been my favorite on the original 4 ships!
Its not even like the show is the entirety of dinner. Its what 20-30 minutes max of a 60-90 minute dinner? There is still plenty of time to talk and enjoy the food.

Just off the Treasure. For me, Marvel was more likable than the Coco restaurant. Coco is very loud, and I emphasize very. You are in one huge dining room with the tables very close together. If you have a noise sensitivity issue, I would recommend sitting in the far back corners by the windows if possible. I was most looking forward to Coco, but my mind quickly changed after about the first 15 minutes. I also didn’t care for their menus, even ordered off of the kids menu the second night, in which they were completely accommodating. The first night, I had some sort of spice that did not agree with me off the main menu.
Really didn't love Coco on the Treasure. I liked Arendelle on the Wish, but Coco was WAY too much... It was so loud, and the food wasn't even great. It actually ruined the whole cruise experience for my husband, he hated Treasure because of it. He had kids meals some of the nights at dinner.
