Anyone else NOT buy Easter candy yet?

Here it is, Good Friday, and I haven't even bought one thing for DD's Easter basket. Am I a slacker or what? Anyone else dragging their feet? (I have to wait until the last minute, or I'm tempted to break into it )

I am going out at lunch to buy DS's Easter stuff...I have really procrastinated.

DS is not getting any candy (too young for it) but I did make him some bunny rabbit sugar cookies last night for his basket. I am also going to get him a basket (of course), a stuffed animal of some sort (bunny, duck, etc.), a music CD (probably Bear in the Big Blue House), some little plastic eggs, and a board book. I am also going to pick up some Peeps for DH.

Thanks for reminding me. LOL. I'm going to the grocery store after I leave the office. I would have walked out without the candy (again). Oh, I did buy a "six pack" of chocolate bunnies at BJ's Wholesale yesterday (two chocolate, two white chocolate and two foil wrapped for $3.99 -- what a deal!)

Ooooooo, gotta write down eggs too!!

Who has colored eggs already????

My kids are older, and their dad gives them a bowl of candy, i am making their fav cookies as we speak!

Not buying any candy for the boys here. if they get candy in there baskets they think they can eat it all. We'll wait fo the candy when they are on clearence and give them some under our control.

you mean i'm suspossed to buy it BEFORE Easter? I always buy mine afterwards but that's just me and my nieces and nephew are getting non candy Easter boxes from dh and I

I always wait 'til the last minute. Going to make my early SAt. morning Wal-Mart run tomorrow. If I buy too early my DS finds it and wants it then.

Basket has been stuffed & wrapped and in the basement for 2 weeks!

Trust me the ONLY thing I am organized with is my daughter and anything to do with her. The rest of my life is chaotic!

Just boiled my eggs a little while ago. Getting the table set up to color them. I've got a stash of toys that I've had saved up since last summer that will go in her basket. No candy as of yet though. She's going with her best friend on an easter egg hunt at the park in the morning. Hopefully it doesn't rain!!! Cross your fingers cuz it's forcasted to.
