I had started out wanting a Crystal Bouquet and had decided on making it myself.. much cheaper than trying to buy one!

So, after twisting what seemed like a million wires with swarovski crystals and pearls, I decided that I wanted Magnolia blossoms in my bouquet. I knew I didn't want one with fresh flowers, because I didn't want to go to the added expense of having it refreshed for a MK shoot and preserved. So, I ran across some beautiful Magnolia blossoms at Michaels the other day. I also found some green poofy things, I don't know what they were, but they looked good next to the flowers LOL.

So, today, I started fiddling around and this is what I came up with. Now, remember, it is still a work in progress!:lmao:

the bouquet looks great! I love the way the crystal banches spiral... so pretty!

I am not making mine but I didnt want fresh flowers for alot of the same reasonings( $$$ and the cost of preserving them etc....) so instead I am getting a bouquet made of wooden flowers! They are amazing! They come in every color and cost so much less and on top of all that they never wilt and I can keep them forever

Your bouquet is beautiful. You did a great job. I made my throw bouquet, and will be doing the silk flowers for my cousin's wedding.

Here is mine that I made. I made all of the flowers. I enjoyed it. Now we don't have to worry about them wilting in the July heat.
