Is anyone else jealous that the U.S. travel channel is constantly showing shows about WDW while all we get is dozens of episodes of Valerie Pringle or Creepy Canada!! AAAHHHGGG!!! What I wouldn't give for an illegal satellite dish

I hear you loud and clear...I hate that.

I have seen every Valerie Pinhead episode 12 times already...Emough is enough. (I don;t really dislike her just the lack of program variety)

Same as when the Superbowl is on...We don't get the cool commercials because we get the Canadian feed...It's just wrong watching a US channel and getting adds for Canadian TIRE...


I want DISNEY TRAVEL SHOWS...

Dishnet is great we watch every episode of WDW on the travel channel

I actually like Creepy Canada but would give up a few episodes or Valerie for some WDW travel info.

Very jealous! Though lucky too because my DF lives in NYC so he tapes them for me. I have to wait until I am there to see them though since I don't have a VCR anymore. lol

This has bugged me for SO long!!!!!!!!!
I keep seeing posts on these boards for great WDW/DCL/DL shows and I just want to CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's just not fair!! I was so excited when we finally got a Travel Channel and then I started watching it and I wanted to hurt someone!!!

There are a few good shows (love Suite & Simple) but they play over and over and over. I want some DISNEY STUFF!!!!

I was talking to a DISer last fall about taping a whole bunch of Disney shows off the Travel Channel and then burning them to a DVD and I would buy it from him but that was September and I haven't heard from him since so....

Sometimes it sucks to be a Canadian Disney Lover!!

All you need to do is get a Free To Air sattelite system and you can pick up all the dishnetwork channels including PPV's and the travel channel and you get all the Disney shows that they air. It is great to watch them mind you some of the US programming is just terrible. Look for a Pansat 2500A or the Fortec Star Lifetime ultra very good systems and easy to set up and use.

They are actually different travel channels all together...ours is run by CTV which explains all the Valerie Pringle. I really miss the US travel too...ours usually isn't worth watching.
