Anyone else in the same boat?

So, both of my children will be in school all day next year. I need to start thinking about a job. Here's the problem....I have NO clue whatsoever what I'm going to do.

I used to run my father's insurance business but left when I had my children. I even let my license expire because I absolutely KNEW I didn't want to go back into that line of work. I just did not enjoy it AT ALL after doing it for 10+ years.

So, time for me to start over and I just have no clue what to do.

Anyone else facing this issue as well?

Banking isn't bad.
I'm a teller and enjoy it for the most part.. at the current branch I'm at. We're slow, with a small client base and I know most of them and enjoy talking to them through the week.

I sent the last of my three kids off to school full time last year. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with myself. I'm bored. I hope this thread brings up some good ideas 'cause I could sure use one.

My kids have been in school for a couple of years. I haven't looked for work consistently, but I have been looking. It's really not a great time to be looking for a job...I can tell you that!

My son started full-day school in August, so I recently faced the same thing myself. I have an accounting degree and worked in tax and auditing before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I knew when I left that job that I would never go back to accounting, so I put it all behind me. A few years ago I finally quit denying the fact that I really want to teach (even though my family of teachers told me to run the other way!), so I'm back in school full time working towards an elementary education degree. I'm having the time of my life....despite the 10+ papers I have to finish sometime between now and Thanksgiving break.
