Anyone else here grilling out on Easter?

We usually have ham and potato salad but I think we might grill this year. :goodvibes

Grilling here too! We are having the parents and in-laws over and DH and I decieded on chicken and sausage on the grill.

From New England and we are grilling and eating out here. It is going to be 75 - 80 degrees here. A much needed break from the flooding rain. We are so excited!!!!

I think we are gonna have Pork Tenderloin on the grill. BIL mom is doing chemo & the diet she is doing limits sodium. And processed foods So my sister & I thought Fabulous lets do a tenderloin, not huge ham girls.

No snow up here this year luvflorida. It's suppose to be in the mid 70's to low 80's on Sunday. Oh and yes I will have the lamb on the grill.

I haven't decided what to have yet, but we will probably grill it. We grilled hamburgers last night and tonight it will be flat iron steak which I have in fajita marinade right now. I guess by Sunday it will be time for chicken. Probably marinated in teriyaki or Italian dressing marinade.

I was going to get a spiral ham, but since it is just the 4 of us, I don't want to eat ham for 2 weeks.

This year we will be having our egg hunt Saturday night. My boys are 10 and 12 but still like their egg hunt, so I needed to make it more challenging. No reflective tape, either, just flashlights.

I talked to my brother on the phone last night (he lives in southern Maine) and he was so excited about the nice weather heading their way. He said he's had enough of the rain! I know the winter this year was a mild one. Our snowplow guy hasn't sent us a bill since January.:woohoo:

I hope everyone enjoys beautiful weather on Sunday-get out there and soak up that gorgeous sunshine!:cool1:

Ya know. I never even thought of grilling on Easter here in New England. But we sure could do it this year. I'm doing pork roast but I've never done that on the grill. Its a small one. Having company & wouldn't want to mess it up. We usually cook it in the rotissaire.

We cook pork tenderloin on our grill all the time. Do you have a rotisserie for your grill? If not, we just put it in a pan and put some apple wood chips in the grill. So yummy!!!!!!!!!! I feel I have been couped up in my house far too long with all the rain that I refuse to use my oven.:goodvibes

I'm not grilling on Easter as the traditional ham dinner if my favorite meal of the year

However...since you used to live in Maine I just have to tell you!

I live in Vermont and it is 78 degrees today and going to be in the mid 80's tomorrow

I grilled hamburgers yesterday and tonight is steaks. But I'm one of those that grill all year long - 20 below zero and all!!:scared1:

Happy Easter to you!

Its 72 out right now and Im about to throw on the grill a big slab of ribeye

We grilled tonight. But then again, we grill all winter, too (we live in New Jersey), so it wasn't that much of a stretch for us. Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter dinners!

Nope, traditional Easter meal here - ham / turkey & cheesy potatoes - yummmmm

BUT we did eat outside this afternoon - absolutely beautiful day :goodvibes

We grilled 10 pounds of fiery hot wings, 10 pounds of chicken breasts, 3 pounds of asparagus, some cabbage...:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We typically grill as much as we can when we grill. I sold my gas grill because my charcoal grill makes the food just taste so much better, so when we break out the charcoal and Weber, we grill everything we an get our hands on!:happytv:

Checking in from Augusta, Maine - where our thermometer read 76 degrees today! Woohoo!

The sun was shining so bright I got to wear my sunglasses while grilling on the deck. And the grass in our yard is actually mostly all green. :woohoo:

I'm still waiting for mother nature to dump 2 feet of snow on us - just to let us know that she is still boss!

It was unusually warm in Vermont as well. We sliced our ham and put it on the grill! I made cole slaw, mashed potatoes, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

We didnt grill on Easter although I was really tempted to just grill hotdogs tonight! I think that will be tomorrow.

We did grill Friday night, though, for DH's birthday. Nice ribeyes.

I didnt want to do ham for Easter since it lasts too long with just the two of us. I was looking for a rib roast but couldnt find one. THAT wouldnt go to waste! So we had salmon pinwheels and stuffed potatoes.
