I saw this on Facebook this morning. Although I don’t believe everything on FB 100%
This was supposedly from his wife he has stage 4 cancer. It didn’t say what kind though. She’s keeping pretty. Private
It was strange though we went to see Herman’s hermits starring Peter noone
When I got his autograph he saw my teen idols shirt which had his pic along with Bobby sherman and Davy jones
And he asked me if Bobby sherman was still living.
I thought that was a strange question to ask a fan.

I just feel bad he was my first crush

I was a fan back in the day. Know nothing about his personal life, other than that he worked for many years as a first responder and EMT. Seemed like a good person. I am sorry to hear he is ill. He is now 81. His family is asking for privacy.

It was reported on People yesterday. So sad. I was a big fan way back. I met him in person when he was performing at a local amusement park.

Interestingly, he began his love of being involved in the EMT world because of a Guest appearance on the EMERGENCY! television show.

My friend and I got to meet him at a radio station he was in town for doing a show.
that was actually 53 years ago tomorrow.

He was so nice an fun to talk to--he talked to us for quite some time also.
such a sweet guy. I felt so bad hearing this

Funny in mentioning Emergency the brown suede jacket he worn in Emergency was the same one he worn when we met him
He played such a different character then himself--great acting

Not sure how I know this, but Bobby constructed a scale model Main St. USA in his backyard. I read this maybe 30 years ago?

Bobby Sherman was one of my first idol crushes. I got my aunt to take me to see him in concert twice when he was in the Philadelphia area touring. So sad to hear this.

I had a picture of it at one time from a teen magazine. It was pretty impressive looking even in a smallish B&W picture

Oh no... Bobby was my first teen crush, and my sister thought he was singing directly to her... her name is Julie. So sad.

A long time ago there was a show about his Disneyland on the travel channnel. I taped it and still have it.
I should get it out and watch it.

Wasn’t my cuppa musically but do recall him in a TV show back in the late ‘60s/early ‘70s. He was a real teenage heartthrob for a while there.
Sorry to hear of his illness ☹️

Op, I am a lifetime member of Peter Noone’s fan club. Will be seeing him in Akron, Ohio next month. Back in 2011, we held “Noonefest “ in Penns Peak, PA. i won an autographed picture of Bobby Sherman. I think Davy Jones was on it too. We were scheduled to see Davy at Epcot during one of their Flower & Garden shows but he passed away right before. WDW got Mickey Dolenz and his sister to fill Davy’s slot and Peter Noone was at Epcot the following week. So sad when stars from our youth fade away!

I had such a huge crush on him when I was a pre-teen. Had a big poster of him (along with Donnie Osmond) on my wall. I watched Here Come the Brides every week. I actually had a crush on all 3 of the guys who played the brothers.

we see Peter Noone every year--Noonefest sounds like fun though

we were planning on seeing Davy at the crystal grand theatre in WI dells only to find out he passed
it was funny cause I was going back to work after lunch and passed a tv that just said about a teen idol that passed away so I waited and was very surprised to hear it was Davy
also saw him with the teen idols-also in the play of grease and another concert with David Cassidy

I agree. Those 3 were my first crushes. I had to choose between a trip to WDW to see Davy Jones or staying home for a Yanni concert, (yes, we like Yanni). I chose the trip to WDW & that was the year he passed away. We had seen him once before thankfully. The tribute concert by Mickey Dolenz was touching.

I haven’t planned right to see Peter Noone. I better make that a priority before it’s too late.
