Hi all.

Husband swears he saw a commercial today for Kellogs Corn flakes and something about a character breakfast. Have no idea what he's talking about (sometimes he doesn't get the whole story, so who knows, maybe it was two different commercials).

Anyone else hear of this? I've beeen on the kellogs website and have seen nothing.
:earseek:

I just saw it a minute ago and went online to Kelloggs and couldn't find anything on it either. I can't believe that they haven't updated the website.

Did you hear the commercial then? I'm checking the kelloggs site (kelloggs.com) periodically. Talk about a SNAFU!!! My hubby's a web developer and would have job on the line if he'd allowed this to happen.

Yes, I actually saw it. It had a little boy and a mom pouring cereal and said you could get Kelloggs cash from the box and could purchase things with it. On the cereal box, it had a blurb stating something about a character breakfast. It said to go to Kelloggscash.com and get the details. I did and there is nothing even went under the promotions and found nothing about Kelloggs cash.

I saw this in the Phila. area and it was for DisneyLand. I bet a lot of people (unlike us Disboarders) will get confused and think it is for DisneyWorld. I stopped and read the cereal box. Each box has a certficate on it. I am not sure about the character breakfast, which was on the front of the box. But, it said you could save the certificates and use them to bid on Disney items, it had a start date and webpage for the auctions. By the way, they were only on corn flakes. Seeing Disney promotions everywhere...has anybody else noticed?

The promo is actually for the kelloggs kash that can be found on the back of select Kellogg's cereals and Eggo's products. Some of the Kellogg's cereals are Corn Flakes, Frosted Mini Wheats , and Raisin Bran. As for the Eggo's, I have only found them on the flavored varieties such as Apple Cinnamon and Banana Nut. They do not come on the Buttermilk or Homestyle. In order to bid, you need to go to www.kelloggkash.com. Right now they are sponsoring a lot of auctions for Disneyland items. They do have several WDW items including Character breakfasts, plush, small snowglobes, and tours. The starting bids range from 3-50 kellogg kash "dollars". The starting bid on the breakfasts is 20 "dollars" but lately they have been selling in the thirties. Make sure you check the expiration date on your kash. Some expire this year and some in 2005. I have some that expire this year that I am sure I will not be able to use because of the high amounts the items are going for.
If anyone is interested in trading any of their 2005 for 2004 kash, please send me a PM.

Figured someone here would know, thanks. We foster homeless kitttens and have spent a FORTUNE this year on keeping them well. I'll have to keep my eye out for this Kash so perhaps we can afford to do the breakfast for my 4 year old.

Thanks again for the clarification.

Mitch

After saving Kelloggs Kash for months (how many boxes of Corn Flakes can 1 person eat) I finally made a bid yesterday and won so I will get a certificate for a free adult character breakfast. Have to tell you when I first started saving the bids were outrageous so I gave up on even looking at their website. Yesterday for some reason I checked and got in a bid which ended last evening so eating my corn flakes has paid off!
