Unfortunately this was not the first case like this, this guy was doing this all over the country. Primetime said if you Goggle McDonald's strip searches it comes up with quit a history. People are fools though to listen to someone on a phone- and the managers BF, tell me he took alot of convincing! Right- no coersion there!

I have to say - Summers shoudl have just HUNG UP THE PHONE! DUUHH!! If the cops wanted you that bad they know where you are!

And Ogbern herself said she thought about running but would be humilated to run through the restaurant w/o clothes on...but I think I'd be humilitaed instead of risking be raped or worse

The NIx guy should defintiely go to jail & be sued for what he did to her & then what the heck was he doing there in the office anyway? He wasn't even an employee in the 1st place so had no right to be in the back....& the fact that Ogburn was left alone-there's always a back door to restaurants & she'd only been flashing the employees not the public - so grab another apron on the way out!

It scares me to think that an 18 y/o thought this was okay, too... I know myself would NOT have stood for that at 18.

Bothers me that there are people in the world whom would go along with the "authorities" that be - to this degree.

if that had been one of my daughters, the fiancee would not be going to jail, I'd have taken care of him myself...

I saw this story on the Comcast fan and wanted to climb through the computer and strangle the manager and her fiancé!!!

Young girls can be so naive (sp???) I can see how a girl at that age could be tricked. The idiot manager was her boss.

so they are indeed just morons and sadists....the opportunity knocked and they did not question....just acted

ITA with this statement about the fiancé. He found himself in a situation that probably got him excited and went along with it (I'm trying not to get explicit) He is vermin and I hope he spends every second of his 35 years in prison.

The story on the fan (I believe ABC) said that the manager broke up with the fiance as soon as she found out what he did. Which led me to believe that she was duped by the whole "cop" phone call. She was fired by McD's. She should go to jail. Being so incredibly dumb is no defense.

I agree with this--it's awful to try and pin any blame on the girl. as someone who has been through a sexual assault, let me just say that you have no idea how you will react--you can't possibly expect her to be logical during this kind of ordeal. She was probably terrified and ashamed and confused....my heart just breaks for her.

This whole things turns my stomach...people can be so cruel.

I, also, hope she gets millions.

You know, I am not in any way sue happy. I think most lawsuits that end in settlements in the millions are waaaaaayyyy excessive. BUT in this case? Oh yeah, I believe this young lady deserves a HUGE settlement from McDonalds. And I've got a feeling McDonalds will cough it up before a trial because there's got to be a whole lot of people in America that believe the same thing. I think they'd have a hard time finding a jury to do anything but give that girl lots and lots of money.

I agree,,even if she at first believed it was a cop that called, anyone with a little bit of common sense or intelligence would not have followed thru on the strip search, and what was she thinking when the person asked her to bring in her fiancee, if he really did make such a request,,,if he was a stranger how did he even know she had a fiancee..???
