Anyone else having trouble with online res.?

Oh...I forgot to say that I did email Disney about the problems I was having and they (for whatever reason) reset my password....which didn't resolve the problem.

This isn't a site malfunction - it's because the rates for 2008 haven't been released yet. Until they are, it won't let you look at next year. You would have to call instead.

We tried it with dates next month, dates in December, dates next Feb...the date always jumped back to the set date. And we aren't on a Mac. I did send an email and I did the survey.

I just hate to use up the disney agent's time just to check resort prices and such. I normally just call for booking.

Happy to know it is not me. I only can get so far then it just stops. Does anyone know anything about prices for the dinning plan for next year. Maybe it is too soon.

My husband and I both have macs and use safari. I have never had a problem getting a quote until this week. It would not work on either of our computers using safari. I have virtual pc on my ibook, and when I used explorer through virtual pc it worked fine. It is really annoying how several websites that I use lately are suddenly not compatible with safari!!!

I called disney travel to make a change to my Reservation and asked them what was going on with the website. She said that they are updating the system and that's why we are having problems!

I've been having problems as well, so I emailed Disney and they said it's because I'm searching for availability in 2008???:confused3

Maybe it's just me, but I've had problems with the reservations page when I go to the dates portion of the reservation. It doesn't work using Safari, but if you have Firefox installed there are no problems. So now when I cruise the Disney site I just open Firefox. BTW, I was in an Apple store a while back and tried it on one of their display machines and had the same problem. Unfortunately, the store was too busy, and I didn't have the time to talk to an employee about the issue.

Saratoga Springs on 8/4 for a week! :yay:

I just downloaded Firefox and guess what? Disney's website now works for me!! :thumbsup2 BTW, I have an iMAc. Thanks for the idea!!

:goodvibes I had to admit that I find the disney website way to slow!! I find it easier to call 1407WDISNEY they have to deal with the website.

I know the 2008 rates are not out yet and thay is why you cant not get a quote for them??? But does anyone know when disney releases the 2008 rates??? thanks:goodvibes

I'm not sure the issue is with finding 2008 dates as much as it is with the functionality of the website. I was searching 2007 dates and wasn't able to do so with Safari, but with firefox I had no problems. I think Disney just says they are updating the website becasue they can't really troubleshoot what is going on. I've been emailing with them and advised them of what I was seeing on this board regarding the website. It appears that the website is allowing for some browsers and not others. I will let you know what sort of response I get from Disney. Maybe it will be helpful to someone. In the meantime, I'm using firefox.:thumbsup2
