Anyone else having trouble with codes?

I have a whole bunch of codes for things that I got when I did the VMK tour over the weekend, and I can't seem to get any of them entered. The one off the wrist band is the worst. My old eyes can't read the numbers. They look alike. LOL

Unlike the ones on the cards (which are unique, so don't share them unless you don't want them), the one on the wristband is always the same. It's included in the code sticky thread, and gets you a pretty boring VMK T-shirt.

The ones on your cards really ought to work, unless some sneaky person copied them off your cards. What error are you getting? That they've been used already, or that they are not recognized?

My younger eyes would be happy to 'help' you read the codes ;) JK.

:wave2: Hi Jellyrolls! :wave2:

I had a thought after reading your post, did you hit the caps lock? That is what I do before I enter a code and it has helped.

OK, so I did already use the wristband code then, since I plugged in the numbers on that list when I first got on VMK. So, I guess I made myself blind trying to read the darn thing for nothing ;)

The other codes I have are on cards, and all the ones I tried to type in tonight have come back saying they don't match any codes. I have my gold ears and wanted poster that I was trying tonight. Tried them both with all caps and all lower case letters. Nothing is working. I guess I'll try again later.

Are you near WDW can you return them?

If not call WDW Guest Relations I am sure they would exchange your bad cards for new ones.

I've heard of this happening when you input too many codes at one sitting. Were any of your codes successful? If so, wait a day and then try again.

Also, whn I successfully enter a code, I cross the code off on the card. That way I know for sure what I have inputted.

I'll admit, every time I have to type in a code I feel like I'm getting an eye exam from a very devious eye doctor!

They are case insensitive so it shouldn't matter if you use uppers/lowers or a combination. If you still can't get them to work, let me know, when I come back from Seattle I'll be happy to take a jaunt up the the park to exchange cards for you.

I did get them to work later last night. I must have just tried them at a bad time :) I know I didn't type them wrong because I typed them each three or four times when I couldn't get them to work :)

So, I finally have my golden ears (and had them on my head for five minutes before someone started begging me for them--she offered me about 25 chairs for them), and my wanted poster :)

Glad they worked okay. I have heard people not getting codes to work, at all, so I'm happy yours turned out alright. We played a game of fireworks together, last night, and I intended on asking you about how the codes turned out, but after the game * poof * you were gone!

Get used to that! I get hounded all the time, even though I politely state "No trades, please", in my signature. I tell people my ears were a gift and that I am not about to part with them :)

I was having a rough time with fireworks last night, Cami. I must have lost my touch on the game after not playing for a few days.
