Anyone else having trouble getting "motivated" today??

I have to work tomorrow, so that means I really should get everything done TODAY that needs to be done before Christmas Eve..

I still have to wrap a number of gifts - go shopping for the food - and I forgot that my car registration expires on Friday!

Somehow I can't get motivated though.. I did wrap a FEW things earlier, but all I want to do is sit here and DIS, while listening to Christmas carols on the radio..

Could someone kindly give me a "boot in the rear" ???????

Turn your music up loud, drag out the presents, wrapping paper, gift tags, etc. and start wrapping. It will be done before you know it!

Now get going!

Add me to the unmotivated list. I find it hard to concentrate at work this time of year. I think everyone does. Must be all the holiday goodies.

I am just not into Christmas this year. Sending out the Christmas cards was a major chore, and I'm not done wrapping gifts. I wish I could just hop on a plane somewhere and hide until the holidays are over.

I'm in the same boat, only I don't have the car tag issue nor do I have to cook for anyone. I do need to go shopping for food for myself and go to the laundromat, though.

I was planning on getting up at 8:00 to go shopping for my boss and to drop off gifts at work today for people who will be off tomorrow through Christmas. Well it's 2:30 and I'm still in my PJ's! Go me!

I can not get into working today either and a friend that I am IMing with can not get into her work as well LOL. Most of my Christmas stuff is all done and wrapped I just can't wait to put it all out

So for me today, I have on my favorite WDW Radio and I just keep thinking about our vacation and where I was this time 2 weeks ago (we were seeing Mickey, Minnie and Santa Goofy at Camp Minnie Mickey at AK while DH was staking out our spot for the Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade ) That is why I can't get motivated today

Okay... I pried myself away from the computer long enough to go to Motor Vehicle and get the registration for my car (Wow! Was it ever crowded in there! Had to be close to 75 people ahead of me!!)... Then I hit the two supermarkets on my way home and got everything I needed except the fruit tray (figured it would get too soggy by Wednesday night)..

I still have the wrapping to do - but I was SOOOOOO good - doin' the other stuff - peez, peez, pitty peez can I DIS for awhile now before I get "back at it" ????????????

Good job, C.Ann! Well I THOUGHT I was heading out, but my car is DEAD! Just what I needed. Now I'm going to have to find a decently-priced rental car that I can get delivered, or I'll have to get a cab to MCO to go rent one. YEA! I just don't have the time to bother with getting it to a shop today. So, forget the gifts. My priority is getting myself to work this week. Ugh.

I'm the same way. I have to finish all the wrapping today, I have a long commute home. I work in a big city so there is the fear of terrorists. And I just noticed my face has broken out to make matters worse

Tomorrow we are going to his moms house to do christmas with her before Christmas eve with my family so I have to finish all my wrapping tonight...
