Anyone else having the post-holiday blues?

I hate to bring everyone else down, but I'm just wondering if there's anyone else out there feeling this way to? I've been down all day just thinking about all the fun of the holiday's being over. And on top of that DH has to go back to work tomorrow. I've been a SAHM since DS was born in June and now it's just me with the kids and the mess.

Well, our holidays aren't over yet. We celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas (12/26-1/6) by working a difficult puzzle together, doing crafts (right now we're making papier mache wise men to put on the table for Epiphany/Twelfth Night), playing board games, etc. Even when hubby works, we try to get him involved in the evenings. Our tree doesn't come down until 1/7 (and it's been up since the day after Thanksgiving), and the rest of the decorations stay until it's time to switch to Spring. For us, it's a long season, not just a day, so we don't have a severe letdown.

I am this year. we usually also leave our tree up until the 7th, but this year my DH and DD knocked our tree down and broke a bunch of ornaments (they were playing hide and seek and my biggest kid, DH hid behind the tree , knocked it over, and well you can figure out the rest.) anyway, i decided to take down the tree because it was a mess and just cleaned everything up at the same time. So for the first time in 10 yrs of having my own place, I am lacking of all Christmas decorations before Epiphany. I do have snowmen up still though. but still a let down to be done so soon.

Yes-I am... it's the same depression I get after returning from Disney

With all the craziness of getting everything just perfect for the holiday, I never got a chance to slow down and take it all in.... now it's over for another year : (

Time to start planning a Disney trip I suppose
