anyone else having log in problems??

the last two days i can't seem to get logged in. I keep getting vmk crashed message. this has been the worst yet. First it was just me, on both my computers, now today brother is having same problem.

i first thought computer but i am having same problem with lap top and now brother is having problem with his computer.

That happened to me to on internet explorer so i switched to firefox and that seems to work.

I sometimes get the error that says something about registration (sorry...I don't really pay much attention), but if I just try again I usually get in.

Have you tried using VMK Pal?

yes i have used both reg log in and vmk pal. maybe it is internet explorer. what is firefox and how do i get it

Its just an alternative program to IE. I would recommend it if for nothing else to help troubleshoot problems like your having.

Was having problems logging in last night would start to load then I got a white screen saying it had crashed IE, Pal both did the same.
Cleared my cache and got on for a bit then it it crashed and could not get on again.

So updated flash and shockwave and defragged the hardrive and will try to do it again tonight maybe can get on.

that is what mine has been doing good luck. it lets you in randomly

Still no joy

Got in once then could not get back in without a almost immediate screen that says that VMK has crashed.

Thought it might be VMKpal related but tried straight IE and it did the same thing one time on then not again.

Going to try firefox in the AM and see what is does.

Things have not been right with VMK since that last big crash wonder if they reloaded a older copy of VMK and is not compatible with the newest shockwave.

That is my next step if I cant get satisfaction is to install a older shockwave and see what happens.

Ok here is what I have been able to find.

I did a clean install and tried different versions of shockwave and still had this happen.
So got to looking at windows itself and there is a recent update for the Core XML in windows and when I remove the VMK core file I can then log back in for that one time.

So there are some fixes out there for this new windows update will try one of those and see if that helps it might just be a VMK issue after all.
