anyone else have trouble with DV dollars

I applied for my Disney visa with the $25 free disney dollars offer. I made my first months purchases, paid the bill and never received my dollars. I called the 800 number, and they said there was a computer glitch and they would be applied to my next's months reward. Guess what, next month came and went, paid my bill and still no Disney dollars. Called again and told the same story. Just wondered if anyone else had a problem or if I'm being feed a line. Starting to get antsy as we leave in Aug. and don't want to wait too many more billing cycles.
 
I got my DV in December, and rushed to the Disney Store on Dec 23 (egads!!) to buy my tickets to get the triple points. It took at least 2 billing cycles before the extra points rewards were posted.

I also had a devil of a time using it the first time--nothing like standing in line at the Disney Store to purchase $1800 of tickets, two days before Christmas, and having your brand new card declined. I called Bankone--they apologized profusely, and said it was straightened out--again it was declined--more rumbling in the lines. Got Bankone on the phone and made them stay on the line with me until the transaction went thru. Not a great start, but next week I look forward to spending those dollars at Disney!!
 
3 months, still waiting for my $25 bonus dollars.
i called 2x:
~ first call: they were looking into it & should be credited w/i a week
~ second call: should appear on june statement

i'm giving them until friday (i'll check online) ~ if they're still not there, i might start getting MUCH more firm :mad: .

We are the same as you! Still waiting for those $25 disney dollars to show up. Each time I ask they tell me that they had a problem and it will be fixed by next month. I'm hoping this statement will have them!:chat:
 

I too had problems. I was persistent and just kept calling. I had called at least six times over the last 3-4 months and finally, I noticed two days ago it was amended. I heard so many different stories, i.e., needed to wait until 2 full billing cycles (for which I did), needed to have at least 10 points before 25 could be added, etc. I had only 9 points and noticed that my 25 points were finally added. My suggestion is to tell them you need it straightened out right away because you will be leaving for Florida soon!
 
I have got to say, I am a little surpised at these glitches. BankOne has invested a lot in terms of staff and training getting the Disney Visa program going, and running well. So the people side of the equation is very strong. It seems that the technology side may still be lacking.

The people staffing the help desk are Disney Visa specialists, and have always resolved any issues I have had to my satisfaction, even the really complex ones.

Also, remember that you can save on shipping charges by simply picking up your rewards card at Downtown Disney, and having BankOne charge it up for you over the phone right then and there.
 
they told me it was a computer error and promised they would be credited on June 24. Since we're leaving the beginning of August, I will be patient one more billing cycle then call and speak to a supervisor.
