Anyone else have trouble with data/internet on July 17 in DL?

I was logging in all day to stay up to date on news surrounding the 17th and found by mid-day my data was so slow as to be pretty much unuseable, even though I was showing 3-4 bars from my provider. Once I moved to DCA, it was smooth as silk. Sure made it frustrating when trying to look up info and wait times. Plus it killed my battery life. I did use Ask Otto 3-4 times and that went smoothly

curious if anyone else had issues?

Disneyland always has data issues when there are a lot of people in the parks. I've noticed that the issues are worse in the time leading up to parade or something of that nature since so many people are sitting and waiting and tend to use their phones then.

I have AT&T and I've notices the same thing as dina444444. The cellular network seems to have a hard time when there are a lot of people in one area. Parades, fireworks, F! waiting areas, and (for some reason for me) NOS area seem to be toughest.

Yes us too! One of the reasons we ended up taking a break earlier than planned - we couldn't access apps or anything to help us plan for wait times, etc.

It was REALLY bad on the 24 hour day! Even the scanners the CM's use at the rides weren't working right. I sent my husband several texts that day and they either failed or too an hour to go through.

I was trying to tweet up to and during the ceremony, and ran my battery down on my iPhone. The DIS team, who was there on an ABD trip were right behind the VIPs and recorded the ceremony. They had to go back to their hotel to upload the data. It was a bit frustrating. I finally gave up.

The parks have always been pretty bad with T-mobile.

That's pretty much the case anytime you have large crowds in small spaces. I had zero service in the hub right before the ceremony at 10am and when I left the area, all my text messages came flooding in.
