Anyone else have to wait til 2008?

Due to the fact that we promised my parents, who live in Colorado Springs, a visit in 2007, we are being forced (LOL) to wait until '08 to get back to WDW. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents very much, and I am looking forward very much to going out there...but I want my WDW fix!!!

Anyone else going through the wait, too?

We went this past year at Easter time.....wife now has a trip to LA, including DL planned for February !!, and our regular trip to the shore in summer 07...leaves us no time (or money !!) for WDW in 07.....right now april 08 is looking good, although I'm trying to sneak in some time at Xmas 07......I guess we will bank some DVC points in 07 and live a little larger in 08

I'm going in Nov 08 for my 40th birthday, and wish I could afford to go sooner, I am going thru MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR withdrawals here, let me tell ya!

Oh I totally hear ya on the withdrawls!! Right now I'm trying to figure out if there is any conceivable way we could pull off even a short trip!

We can only afford to go every other year. We live across the country from our parents/siblings so we also go home twice a year. We went to Disney in May so we cant go back until May 08. I think were going to just do the cruise in 08. We loved every minute of it this year and 4 days was too short.

Count us in! We were there in June and won't be returning until June, 08 - here's hoping for a fast 2 years!

I am scrolling through these forums now and i know exactly what you mean i usually try for every other yr but sometimes like 3 yrs and sometimes 4. i have taking DD from 1992 until she was about 16, about 4 times she is now 23 and she has DD and now i have to wait until 2010 , thats when DGD will be 5. I usually stay at SOG but for next trip have already made up my mind to book 2 rooms at the poly. Heck it will probably take that long to save that kind of money. But it will be worth it to see DD and DGD in the most magical place on earth.

Trust me, I tried soooo hard..but my mom is immovable. She refuses to even come out here in the summer because of the humidity! LOL I even asked if they wanted to take a trip in Feb of '07, since, I'm assuming, it wouldn't be as hot or humid, but they just weren't hearin it. LOL

We just went down in July, and stayed off site for a week. We are going back in July 08 and will stay on site with dining plan. I am hoping to convince hubby to stay at the Poly for 10 days--now that will be a magical trip!!!!!
I truely can not believe how much I WANT to go back!!!

After an unexpected trip in May (having just been there in Oct), we're all in a "what, 2 more years??" mode right now.

2 years used to be the norm -- I think we've spoiled ourselves with that May trip.

Well i am not sure when the next trip will be after i go in December for a short trip. I just came back from my summer vacation from Disney . Right now
iam planning an Adventures by Disney vacation for late Sept 2007. Lol atleast
its Disney. So maybe 2008 will be the next Disney world trip.

Well, I am going 4 weeks from today BUT...
then I won't be back until 2008 either
My dd is getting married next year so we are excitedly planning her wedding, but that means there will definately not be a trip to disney next year
I've been to wdw 9 times (soon to be 10! ) since my 1st trip in 2000, I think I will be having major withdrawals next year Of course, I won't have time to miss disney until after the wedding

More than likely, we will be waiting as well. We have my "dream trip" to the UK coming up in mid-Nov. 2007, so my work-a-holic hubby needs most of his vacation days for that. I'll get my fix in two weeks, and that will have to do till 2008. (Although I must confess I'm HAPPY not to be going to WDW this time - I think I have waited my whole life for this trip!! )
