Anyone else have this twisted reasoning?

I'm so glad I am not the only one with these laundry problems. I just put a load of whites in - socks were all inside out. DS wears two pairs of socks for games and takes them both off together - so I wash them that way. He also takes off two and sometimes three shirts together.

I refuse to fold socks anymore I put them in their separte piles. I do check pockets though. I keep the money and I check for report cards, notes from girls, detention slips, permission slips, etc.

I hate laundry - and its one job that is never done:(

I am with Minnie on this have to peel the clothes apart thing. My DH does a very physical job where he sweats a lot and he will just put off his shirt and t-shirt together. Before it can be washed I have to peel these stinking shirts apart everyday....uggghhh...

I also keep all money found in the machine and pockets, I can make some good loot that way when my grown children are home visiting....:D

My DH is outside quite a bit in the winter (for sport and for work) so he's learned how to dress well for the weather. Unfortunately, he's never learned how to UNdress well. It is the norm in the winter for me to have two to three shirts all taken off together as well as blue jeans with long underwear still underneath and TWO pairs of socks still stuck at the end of the legs! I have the fun job of taking all of this apart to separate colors and wash everything...

See why I don't have kids???? I already take care of BOTH of us! :p

You are all too nice. Whatever way clothes come to the laundry is the way they get them back. If socks are balled up, they won't get washed right and they also won't dry properly. That's not my problem. My DH also takes off shirts together and doesn't unbutton his button-down shirts. Dress shirts go to the dry cleaner, so that's not my problem. I can't tell you how many times his undershirts have turned the color of the overshirts because he took them off together. Whatever way I get his clothing is the way that he gets it back. I fold things inside-out. I also hang his buttoned shirts with the sleeves inside and inside-out. If he chooses to give me a mess, I will give it right back to him. Somehow, it makes me feel better, but it doesn't phase him.

My SIL charges her kids something like 10 cents for every sock she has to turn right side out in the laundry!

I'm mean. I wash things that are ready for the wash. If zippers aren't zipped, etc. Then I leave it dirty til it is done.

You mean to tell me you don't wash anything that doesn't have the zipper zipped? Why would you need to have it zipped to wash it? That's a first for me...
