Anyone else have this problem?

I wish I could browse the stores before I go to DL because it never fails, every year I shop every day and can not decide what I want. A sweatshirt, whatever... Then on like my 2nd to last day I finally figure it out and only get to wear my new sweatshirt for a day or so.

Not this year, this year I am going to do it the first day. Really I am, then for the rest of the week I will see other sweatshirts I wish I had. I guess there really is no solution

Haha that's funny! Try this this year... stop in to either World Of Disney in DTD your first day or the Emporium on Main St, right away. Between the 2, you'll be hard pressed to find anything else in the parks (other than specific pirates or HMH or Nemo type stuff) that isn't sold in one of those 2 stores. If you are not planning on going in to the parks on your first day, go to guest services and ask for a one hour shopping pass. It will be nice Mom time alone for an hour!

I'm flying in at night and plan to go to World of Disney after I check into my hotel, just so I have a head start on shopping! I can be pretty indecisive at times, so this time I'm even going to write down info on things I want so I can buy it after the parks if I leave with any regrets.

LOL, I bought my sweatshirt (zip up hoodie that I LOVE!!!) at the GC gift shop while waiting for my DH and two kids to have "one last ride" on Soarin before catching our shuttle to the airport. So I never got to wear it in the parks, but will bring it with me for our November trip! Of course, then I'll still have to buy something else....

We are driving down Sunday and should hit the park by 2pm maybe I will also hit World of Disney. Or maybe I will see if I can get some alone time to make up my mind.

On our last trip I found a somewhat expensive but yet fun way to get around the same problem. When I packed for our trip somehow I did not pack enough clothes for me, dear mom and since mom couldn't wear the same shirt over and over again, I bought a new one each day for the following day.

I love this idea!! My DH doesn't care what I buy, but I always feel guilty. I can hear it now...'packing for the kids got me off track, guess I HAVE to shop now!' It is a little transparent though....
