Anyone else have problems?

So, I ordered the Princess and Frog poster with Naveen and Tiana signatures. Nothing has come. Ordered the grape soda pin...NOTHING as of today...I have sent numerous emails, and continue to get the standard generic reply back. I have asked many times to let me know when they shipped, and nothing..is there a number for movie rewards, or a better email? I have quite a lot of points and have bought a lot of movies to get them, and I hate the customer service is so NOT disney like!

Any help appreciated...thanks

I've never really had any issues with it myself, so I don't really have any ideas for you other than what you've already tried.
 
Hey Mike! Sorry to hear you are having problems with Disney Movie Rewards.
I have had problems with them not giving me some Bonus code points. They sent me an email, pretty much telling me tough luck! So I sent them another email and have not heard back yet or have gotten my 50 points yet! I know some others had the same problem with this Bonus code! It drives me nuts! LOL

I did just redeem some points myself! I got the WDDC Lilo and a 3" Clear Vinlymation! I redeemed these on Jan.11 or 12 and on Jan.14 I got an email saying my WDDC Lilo is on it's way! But no word yet on my 3" Clear Vinlymation! So I am kinda of in the same boat has you on that one!

I hope we both here something back soon and get our stuff soon!:wizard:
 
To send me generic emails about shipping...I think my next call is to Disney themselves....This is nuts...I have 3500 points, thats a lot of movies, and I cannot get a poster and pin due me? Crazy...I will say, this is the first time I have had a problem...
 

What does a generic email about shipping consist of?


They typically send out the order confirmation, then the shipping confirmation, and that's it. You just wait in between. I bought the Kevin plushes and redeemed for the bottlecap pin and the vinylmation. After a week or more I got shipping confirmations for the first two and am waiting on the shipping confirmation on the vinylmation. From past experience, patience is what it takes!

Its been 6 weeks since the poster order, and email stating it was coming, and 4 weeks since the bottle cap and email saying it was shipped.....I have emailed asking about information on the shipping, and I get a standard email stating I will get an email conifirming order, then one confirming shipping....I got those...I continue to email and ask if they can verify shipping, check on it, whatver, because the items are now sold out...I continue to get the same email......I have read on other boards, people who ordered same time as me, have their items..I am concerned they are lost....I would think, good customer service, would be to have someone at least check....BUT, I spoke with Disney Movie Club tonight, and they gave me a phone for DMR....
 
So, ok, for 3 weeks I have been emailing and asking about my rewards.....I continued to get the email telling me to wait, to wait, to wait.....I continued to email them saying I got the email the pin was shipped, can you please verify and look into it...Nope...Same standard email..SO, just now, I found a number for Disney movie rewards...Called, and on hold...Seems my pin, I have been asking about for 3 weeks, SHIPPED TO ME Dec 16th!!! SO, it never got here, and their poor customer service email system ignored my concerns....The nice lady on the phone is attempting to locate one for me....Now I am waiting to see about the poster I ordered as well.....On hold...No Disney Music, which would make it a little better waiting :thumbsup2

The pin shipped the next day after I ordered..Maybe one person could have read my email and actually looked in the system to check, instead of just sending me the same email? Unreal....Still on hold......

SO NOW, they are telling me that the pin will have to wait until they get it back at their fullfillment center????? I have to call back in 2 more weeks? :confused3

And as for the poster, they have no way of knowing if it shipped or not, they have to research and call me back tommorow.....

I am surprised at how lackluster this is....I asked, if a pin does not go back to you, then what? I was told, we would cross that bridge when we get to it!! So if the pin does not get back to them, and was lost somewhere, I am out the pin and points? No answer....

This is wow...crazy...I have accumulated over 8500 points...At 100 points per movie, do the math....Thats a lot of cash.....

I will update with more when I get it...

So, DMR calls me back...It appears that there were more orders than posters for the Princess and Frog signed poster. SO DMR cancelled mine, with no notification, and no refund. Just seems they said "oh well, you cannot get one." It took calling them to find this out. At first, the lady would not tell me what happened, jsut that, sorry, you are not getting one...I then asked about my soda pin...She again told me I had to wait 2 more weeks...I said thats not right, it has been over a month, and will I also be told that there are no more..She told me that once it left the center, and was with the US Mail, they were not obligated...I then asked for a supervisor...I was told the poster was an error (which I still do not get, I order one the day it came out, and it was up for 2 weeks? :confused3) I then asked about the pin..She told me the same thing...I told her that it was not right, enough was enough, I have had over 8000 points, and thats a lot of money, and the customer service is bad...She finally agreed, and was very nice, to send another pin to me asap, for all my trouble!!

I am really shocked at how this has transpired....Over a $8 pin, and probably a $10 poster!! Talk about jumping through hoops!! I think ill hurry up and spend my points and be done with it.....

Yikes! That's the part that departs from my experience with them. I once ordered a trio of Pixar pins that was based on buying a certain something, and I paid a few bucks in shipping. Never arrived. I emailed, and had to wait a bit to hear back, and I was asked to wait a bit longer, which I did, but then after that they sent me out more.

It is kind of weird that even though they are sold out of the grape soda pin they were able to procure one for you immediately after talking with the supervisor. Makes me wonder if someone down the road is going to have the same problem!

By the way, the only reason I worded my first reply in the way I did was to get more info. You weren't totally specific in your first post...how long it had been and what their emails had been, so I just didn't know those things and wanted to help further. :upsidedow

NOW, let me be clear on the soda pin...Its yet to be shipped to me. She said I would get an email about shipping, and NOTHING as of today..Im waiting until Monday to call back...Me thinks I was dupped into feeling better and hanging up...I have a strong feeling there are no more pins, and that I was just being appeased...Ill let you know.
 
I am guessing you are right and they ran out. I imagine both of your items are very popular topics right now.

I ordered the silver mickey ears necklace with matching earrings on January 8th and received them yesterday. I rec'd the shipping email on January 14th.

No excuse for them bungling customer service as the did. At the very least an email should have gone out alerting members that a larger than expected orders were placed, etc.

Hope it turns out and you get your pin :wizard:
 
I just ordered the silver mickey earrings and necklace tonight along with the UP kit. I have never had problems before. I am glad to hear you got your jewelry quick. I hope I am able to still get mine.
 
Nothing yet. No pin, no email, nothing. DMR is a joke the way they treat customers.
 
After 2 more phone calls with supervisor, STILL NOTHING. Except a lot of apologies. SO, as they originally told me, i would have to wait 2 weeks..Its OVER 2 weeks and nothing still, even after promises of delivering....I am wondering who at Disney to write and complain about. Funny thing, every phone call to DMR I get the same woman.
