I agree with everyone. Sounds like a healthy baby. My son has been big from day one. He was 2 1/2 when we took him to WDW in September and was able to ride Splash Mountain, Test Track (4 times) and Dinosaur. He will turn 3 in January and is 43 inches and 55 pounds. I call him my retirement plan.![]()
Wow!! My DS will also be 3 in Jan too and he is only 37.5 inches and 32lbs. He is soooo sports orientated, esp basketball. It is such a shame that his girl cousins are off the charts in height and weight and completely uncoordinated. He did get the good hair in the family, go figure.
OP, babies come in all shapes and sizes. If you ped isn't worried I wouldn't be. A friend of mine had the biggest (chubby) baby I have ever seen. Everyone used to call her Bubba
. She is now 9 and totally normal in weight.

That's some super milk you have there!
I finally had to play hardball! I stopped going in for the middle of the night feeding (was usually around 2 am). if he fussed more than 5 mins i would go in, rub his back a bit, and then leave. after 2 night hs would just go back to sleep in 2-3 mins, and then the 4th night he didn't wake up for it at all.
My mom said "no way am I putting my infant on a diet" and went against the doctor's advice, and now she is a 15 year old who is about 5' tall and weighs all of 90 lbs.
...anyways, he did slow down...he is now 15, 5 ft 9 inches and about 135....my girls were opposite, started out huge and by a year were tiny little things...my youngest was just over 17 lbs at a year and about 23 lb when she was 3....he sounds like a little butterball and completely healthy...enjoy him...they grow so quickly
