My Boy friend and I are going with my Daughter and were Just wondering if they have a Dorthy's Club or if there will be any other gay couples with or with out kids on this cruise.

What is a Dorthys club......??????

If you join up on hte meet section iwth your particular sailing you may be able to find out that way if there are other gay couples on the cruise.

No there is no official Dorothy's club on DCL cruises.

Fun story: My husband and I have only ever cruised with DCL (because we LOOOOOVE it! ) so we never even heard of a "Dorothy's Club" until our most recent cruise which was the Eastbound TransAtlantic cruise from Fla to Barcelona. There were several queer couples on the cruise and one of them were frequent cruisers on other cruise lines which do have a Dorothy's Club (which I gather are events or mixers scheduled at some point during the cruise specifically so that queer cruisers, both single and couples, can get together and meet one another and socialize, etc.). Well one of the guys from that couple walked up to the cruise director, Rachel (who is just adorable), and told her that he was surprised not to see one on the schedule anywhere and asked her about setting up a Dorothy's Club Meet on the ship and she said that she'd look into it...but I knew another cast member aboard that ship and he said that Rachel was very confused and was like, "What the heck is a 'Dorothy's Club?'" I just laughed and laughed thinking of this poor cute little woman (from England or Australia? I can't remember) trying to figure it out!

So no, there is no official Dorothy's Club....but there's always a number unofficial Dorothy Club Members aboard the DCL ships. Often they'll pop into the bar in the late evening and you'll be able to find them...or you can always cruise the embarkation photos in shutters and look for the same sex couples from ship's boarding!!
