I searched for a February 2017 check-in thread, but could not find it. Just curious how many others are planning a trip in Feb 2017?

My DH, DS8 and myself will be arriving on 2/18 and leaving 3/2. We're staying at the Tropicana and plan to do DL, CA and other theme parks/activities in the area.

We come from Oregon, so not too far away. I took my DS in 2013 when he was 4 and we went as a family in 2015 (DH's first time).

I had a life threatening medical emergency in Aug 2015-- multiple large pulmonary embolisms and am very lucky to be alive. Because of this, we had to cancel our 2016 trip. I am mostly recovered now, but am definitely not the same as before the PE happened. I get winded, chest pain, etc. I am a little nervous about my endurance, but am trying to build up. Also, that is one reason why I planned such a long trip- to allow myself the option of resting as needed, without the worry that I am missing out.

Disneyland is my happy place, so excited to be going back!

Hi! My family (8 of us!) will be there almost the exact same time as you - from Feb 20 to Mar 4, and almost right next door at PVI! Life is full of surprises, both good and bad....so happy for you that Disneyland is not unmanageable and you are taking precautions to not overexert yourself. I am looking forward to not having to rush around either - we are 3 generations traveling together and are going to bask in the goodness that is DL as much as possible!

Oh my gosh, that sounds like so much fun. The special memories you all will build is priceless. I would love to one day go with my family. I have never stayed at PVI but have heard excellent things about it! I love staying right across from the main gate... so magical. Hope your visit is full of happy memories!

Me!

We are coming from Australia for our second trip in as many years :)
We arrive on 25/2 and leave on 8/3. We are staying at PPH again in a club level theme park view room. It's also a surprise Christmas present for our 7 year old twins.
We are doing a Disney themed treasure hunt Christmas morning in which they have to find pieces of a specially made jigsaw puzzle that says "We're going to Disneyland in 61 sleeps".

I'm planning on being there the last week of February, and plan on staying at the Tropicana also. A conference was recently scheduled nearby that week, so I'm working on reservations now.

We'll be there February 6-11. We are staying off-site, most likely at Best Western Plus Pavilions. We've got our plane tickets so far, but nothing else is set in stone. DLR planning is so much more relaxed - I'm really enjoying it!

Hi! I've been looking for a Feb. 2017 thread too! We cancelled a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy for Feb. and now are doing 8 nights in So. Cal. instead. We're WDW vets and wanted a new adventure! We are going over my son's 4th birthday, all he wants is to have a Lego birthday, so we are doing 3 nights at the Legoland hotel over his birthday and doing Legoland and some other TBD area attractions, then going to DL for 4 nights at DLH, then maybe just a night in Santa Monica for easy access back to LAX on our departure day. Still working out the details, but just booked our DL package through Costco last week :)

I was not so patiently waiting for 2017 availability on the sites like Orbitz, Cheaptickets, etc. to stack a coupon on the discounts the released, but got sick of waiting. I figured it out and even if they do release them with a 15% discount, I won't really be losing out that much because of the perks booking with Costco and using my 5% off with my Red Card and my DVA with the $20 back per $1000.

I'm planning one! Me and the two kids and maybe their dad (my ex) and his new partner. I have reservations at Del Sol at the moment, but looking to stay someplace a bit nicer.

Shooting for Feb. 18-25, but I haven't booked tickets from Alaska yet.

My husband & I plus the grands are taking our 5 kids while our 6th will be there on a band trip Feb. 1st-5th. ::) Hoping that Pirates won't be down for a refurb then.:sad1:

Well as much as I intensely dislike the demise of ToT ;( :(
I still plan to visit dl in February. I am so hoping ToT will be saved. But it's not looking good. :( So, what can ya do? Hopefully potc, hm and BTMRR will be open.
Maybe one day ToT will return to it's frightful ;) home.:) Oh glory be for that! Oh sing it man! :)

Going with my mom, Feb 5-10, DLR. It's my fourth trip to DLR but the first time I've ever had more than two days there!

2/3-2/6, staying off site at one of the BWs, I looked at Pavilions but I'm concerned about the breakfast arrangement at Denny's.
