I have not gotten it, BUT I recall a similar AP/paid research thing that went out via e-mail to only select few people maybe 2 years ago or so? It wasn't last year. I'm pretty sure it was 2009. I think that bluegrizzlies was one of the DIS'ers who received it, as I recall.

That invitation from 2009 involved people actually going into the parks. Your offer sounds a bit different.

And then there are the surveys that people sometimes receive while at DLR - sometimes they yield absolutely nothing, and sometimes people have received $100 for participating!

I hope you're going to do it? They don't give too much notice, really, considering that many people will have to get off of work.

That's awesome if it's legit. We will actually be at DLR on Monday and Tuesday I only wish that they would invite me to participate!

Last year I got a $150 gift card and only thing I did was sign my name saying I got the card.

We had walked into Animal Kingdom at Disneyworld just after rope drop. I was stopped and asked if I would take part in a 1 hour research study in the park office later in the day. I said yes and arrived at the scheduled time. I was told sorry but they already have enough people for the study but here is the gift card.

I got one.

they do compensate well for surveys (aka focus groups). I participated in one on the Magic, got 200 OBC for 2 hours of my time....not bad.

I took an in park survey in DCA just after entering last March...Got a survey today via e-mail asking - mainly - why I hadn't been back in a year....completed the survey - but received just a heart-felt thank you...no goodies...

So far I haven't heard back from them I hope I get to do it!

Jimsocks, I've done tons of in park and online surveys, this is the first one that has actually had a chance for anything lucrative!

I hear ya, Tink...I wasn't expecting anything....just sharing my experience....apparently, I should be more concerned with the quality of my sock inventory as I'm staying at the Park Vue next month...
