Anyone else get a email about a free 25.00 gift card if they do a dvc tour?

I did this a few months ago (from a referral, not an e-mail) but never got the card.
I spoke to a rep named Megan, but I threw out all the materials they sent & can't remember her last name or a phone number. I feel bad calling the main number & asking about my card since I really have no intention of buying DVC right now.

I took the phone tour about 6 weeks ago. I was assured I would receive the GC shortly. I still haven't received it so I called Rob (the rep I spoke to at the Roosevelt Field store) and he said he didn't know why it wasn't sent out yet. After several phone calls back and forth, he said he will arrange for the GC to be at the Caribbean Beach Resort next week when we check in since he didn't think I would receive it before we left on our trip. Rob said he will call me back Tuesday to confirm - we'll see how this all works out.

So, I am confused...are people getting the gc that was offered? I did get the email...just haven't had time to call yet, but if no one is actually getting the gc after they make the call maybe I won't bother. Still, $25 is $25 and it would be nice to have.

I did it and received the gift card very quickly. I made the phone call and talked to a CM for 5-10 minutes ar so. I really am interested in purchasing at some point down the road so asked a few questions. He immediately sent me two emails with virtual "Dream" books to look through which I did. I never gor a confirmation or anything, but the gift card arrived via Fed-ex a couple days ago.

And for the poster asking, yes we do have a trip booked for early Sept. In fact, the original email offer mentioned taking the virtual tour to get a card to use on your trip.

I did the tour only last week. I spoke with a Randy Krugar (not sure on the spelling) He said he would email me the virtual tour, but never did. I have not received anything since talking to him. I hope to get something, but am thinking it might not happen.

I got this email on the 7/21 and was wordering how easy it was. Seems like an easy enough deal, just hope I get the giftcard in time. I actually am intersted in buying in dvc, but don't want to be presssured.

I don't have enough posts to post a link or e-mail addy, but I did a google search for "disney vacation club gift card" and it pulled up a page that says this:

Unspecified incentive pricing will be offered during the phone tour. Click HERE for details and contact us at "e-mail addy I can't post" to obtain a referral. CAN be combined with other offers!

So it sounds like if anyone wants to do this offer and did not recieve an e-mail they can go ahead and e-mail the addy and get a referral an then do the phone call

For the tour at Woodfield mall here in Illinois they are offering a $50 gc. We went to do it today and we had to make an appt. for Wednesday. We can only get the gc Monday - Friday. I would love to own a dvc. I just don't know if we can afford it right now.

The email was sent to people who had an upcoming trip. That is what mine said anyway. I still have not received my gift card. I will be calling Monday.

I just got the email yesterday, and I took the phone "tour" with the rep and it was about 15 min, but I didn't mind. Said the packets will be sent via fedex. yea!!

can someone give me the email address or the phone number so I can take the phone call and get the gift card? Would that be a possibility? This sounds like an awesome opportunity that I dont want to miss out on.
