I was watching the parade earlier and not only did they talk over all the music, they kept breaking in to show the satellite pictures they took of the inauguration. They said they had the pictures the fastest. I did not care. Those would be interesting but later, not during the parade. They cut in so many times and then would go back just to break for a commercial. Very frustrated.

Now, they were showing the Commander-in-Chief ball and kept their reporter talking even after President Obama was there and started speaking. They had a satellite hook up with some soldiers and while Obama was still talking to them they went to commercial again! Couldn't they do a commercial when they were in between balls? :confused3

Yes, I am too! Their coverage has been awful. I was waiting for the Crow nation to come on since they're from my state but I think they showed that stupid satellite thing during it.

I am getting very tired of all the opinions of all the different people, that can come later, I want to see the balls and the festivities. I did email them but I wish I could just tell them to 'be quiet!" Sometimes just watching is the best. I really wanted to see some of the bands and groups marching.

YES!!! It's the same problem I have with so many parades!!!

I switched to C-Span for most of the parade and wasn't as frustrated.

because I'm about to blow.

HEY STUPID COMMENTATORS, WHY DON'T ALL OF YOU JUST SHUT UP.

Seriously. I thought NBC had the best, least-obtrusive coverage of all the networks that I kept bouncing around from. I WANT to actually hear HISTORY not your mind-numbing and mindless blather.

SHUT UP.

thanks,
agnes!

Why didn't I think about C-span??? I tried the other networks and MSNBC but the networks went off at 5 and MSNBC was more frustrating -talking over it.

I just heard on CNN that they broke from the Commander-in-Chiefs ball because of technical difficulties BUT they said they would show the parts we missed, they show the Obama's dancing but talk over the whole thing again so you can't hear the music. And they still haven't shown the rest of the conversation with the soldiers or the Obama's dancing with members of the military. I think Anderson Cooper needs to be on at least every 2 minutes!!!

Wolf Blitzer's voice was driving me so crazy at one point this afternoon I put him on mute.

EXACTLY!!!!
I think they love their own voices

I normally like Anderson Cooper but it sounds like he's trying too hard to have commentary too early. Thank goodness for C-Span.

I thought ABC did the best job. I usually enjoy watching CNN and when my mother came home from work ( she didn't get to see anything today ) I told her that ABC will be better. She said oh no put on CNN and they were terrible!!! I mean they just kept rehashing and rehashing instead of showing us the balls and letting us hear what was going on.

ABC was excellent I truly enjoyed watching them today, especially when they had on LBJ's daughter it was great to hear her reaction!

I was watching CNN earlier and changed to FOX who has been great all day and night....but would also like to see more of the partys/Ball's....
