Anyone else for April 2009?

Just found out yesterday that our early November trip is off the table due to work conflicts. We are now on for April 2-11th. It will be the week before Easter so it will be busy, but the kids will only miss a day of school. So bumming about this trip but looking forward to the next one.

HI there! Brand new to the site, and thought I'd say hey - we're planning our first WDW trip for Apr 2-12, 09, a fun road trip from Maryland with my 10 and 6yr old sons. We're staying offsite, Marriott something-or-other a few miles away. It's possible our dates may change to late Feb/early March, but no official word yet, so I'm still going on the April dates.

I am planning another April solo trip! I went in April, 2008 and loved every minute of it. I will be staying at POP. I am driving down on 04/25/09 and coming home on 05/02/09.

Last year there were quite a few DISer's for April. Wondering what the numbers are looking like for this upcoming April?

April 18 to 26th !!! Still not decided where to stay though but I do have my air ready!!! landing at MCO at 9:30AM on the 18th of April

We are going April 13th - 18th. My DS is so excited that he is going back to Disney in April. And he does not even know about the SURPRISE TRIP in December. SHH. I can't believe I have kept my mouth shut for months.

Yep the hours are up for MK and DHS so far. Shouldn't be too much longer and the other parks should be up too. Wow, now it seems so real. I can actually plan stuff definitely! ADRs, iteneraries, I can actually print them out and not waste paper!!!

I was just checking the hours for MK. I see that on 4/22 the MK closes at 7:00.... I don't see that anywhere else that month. Could this be the Pirate and Princess Party? And could it be the only one in the month?

This happened this past April but there were more closings at 7:00. Maybe they still need to add?

One can hope that is the PAPP....What do you think?

Looks like April 4 thru 9 for us....I am hoping for POP. Tried to wait for August but just can't...it's been too long. I've not been during Easter break in ages but I can't take dd out of school so I guess we'll just have to brave the masses like everyone else

They are closing on the April 1st too. I am disappointed because it looks like they wont have PaPP when we will be there.

From what I've gathered the parties are a way to attract folks that wouldn't normally be at Disney. Easter 2009 is Sunday April 12th. From what I can gather from the calendar, Disney figures they have a built in audience
(me included); from April 2nd (10 days before Easter) until April 22nd (10 days after Easter); therefore no need for any parties.
