Anyone else for April 2009?

we're in!! we'll be there april 4th till 11th. 4 of us...DH, myself, DS9, & DS7. it'll be our first trip to wdw. staying at csr. can't wait!!

We're In!!! This is our first April trip to WDW ,,,, been in Jan, March and May.

The DD (kids live right down the road) walked into the kitchen 2 Sundays ago and announced "We're going to WDW!!! Dad, start doing the planning thing you like to do." DW said the timing was perfect because 2 nites before when I saw one of the "stay 4 nites, get 3 free" TV commercials, I let out a very loud and sad sigh.

Pop Century, April 16-23, with the DW, DD, DSiL and the BLGS (Beloved Grandson).

We already got our maps in the mail and they are awesome to say the least. I asked my husband if we could laminate them ( he called me a dork LOL ).

We leave in a little less than 3 months and I am already getting things in action. Oh.. did I meantion there are 7 of us going me(37), hubby(35), dd(13), ds(9), dd(7), ds(3), ds(3)
We are driving 18+ hours

How did you get the maps???? My DSiL can't find the ones we got back in 2005 when we made plans but couldn't make it happen.

Just as an FYI...I was home sick from work for a couple days and used the time to attempt to compile a list of all Disers going to WDW in April. I took the names from this thread and at least one or two others in an attempt to corral everyone into one list. I like printing out a list of all Disers and taking it with me so I know who all to be on the look out for.
Instead of cutting and pasting the list here, I'll just post the link to the thread containing the list.

April 2 thru 7 @ POP myself, DD(9) best friend of DD(10), mom of best friend. The best friend and her mom haven't been in 10 yrs so I am trip planning....so excited...

We'll be there 3rd-12th.

Yes we are coming from Australia. We fly first to San Francisco (13.5 hrs!!) where we stay for a few days. Then off to New York for 5 nights and Philly for 4 nights to visit family. We fly from Philly to Orlando on Monday 13th (arriving 12.35pm). Stay for 6 nights (depart midday on 19th) and then fly to Hawaii for 4 nights before returning back home (10 hours from Hawaii).... a lot flying! But it will be a great trip.

just browsing and saw your post!!! to Philadelphia.... if you are a Narnia fan.. (yes it is almost like the one in DHS but more in depth according to them ... but this is also presented by Disney so... ) check out the Franklin Institute in Phial... and there are other fun stuff to do also... and if I dont get to bump with you in Philly I might bump into you at the Wdw... flying out of Philadelphia on the 18th of April till 24th

Yep,the week leading out of Easter (we may have lost our minds with the crowds, but Spring Break only happens once a year and so far the school board has not asked my opinion of when it should be!!)

Gosh. I am a little jealous that we are only staying 3 nights in April (2-5), but a little time in Disney is better than none. We are going to watch our DD perform at Epcot with her marching band/colorguard. Although DD will be there with the band we will not be staying with them and this is the first time in 23-1/2 years that DH and I have ever traveled alone without the kids. It will be kind of strange. LOL.

We will be there the same time - watching our DD in the band - Hampton High school. We are staying unitl April 9th - she will come home with us.

We're going to Walt Disney World for our first ever visit from April 19th to May 3rd. I cannot tell you how excited I am.

I am also a little bit nervous because it all sounds so overwhelming and big and I have no real idea what to expect. We're staying at Pop Century Resort.

You will be fine,once there you will be like a Disney vetrean. Just remeber to set rechable goals,like what attractions you want to see,firguring what time you want to take your afternoon break,If any. Do not feel like you have to see everthing In one day,I think thats probaley the # 1 problem with folks there. They feel like they have to get It all in.Remeber what you do not see In this trip you can always come back.
