Hi,
I have to admit to being a bit obsessed with the daily movement of the £v$ exchange rate. I noticed yesterday that £ was falling back against the $ as it has for the last few days (probably due to interest rates remaining on hold and bad trade figures) So when I checked the BBC's finance page today I was surprised to see the £ had risen by more than 2 1/2 cents to $1.9844. If this correct that is a very large movement at the end of a trading day. Oddly CNN have the same rate but the New York Times have a much lower one.
Any comments?
