Anyone else filling out forms for school?

Yep...me, too. Of course, I know they are important. Hey, I even send my own forms home with my students , but they sure are a pain to fill out. And while we are complaining...if the middle school asks me to buy one more thing I just might have to get a second job!

Browneyes, may I have a double, please? My DS starts college in two weeks, one more form and I may have a bonfire in the backyard with all the paper work. Oh yes, the checkbook--it has checks in it, but to write them you must have put money in the account right? He gets his books next week, I think the checkbook and I will disappear for a few days after to recover from a zero balance and writers cramp from signing my name. I'm ready for that drink now, pretty please

Just found out that all the high school athletes are suppose to sell 10 cards(filled with discounts) on Saturday and then the volleyball team is also selling candy and bath and body works stuff. This is ridiculous. I hate selling stuff. I don't like trying to sell to neighbors and friends because when their kids are selling stuff then I feel the need to buy from them and because of DH's job situation I just can't reciprocate.


I need more wine and cheese.

Without turning this into a fundraising debate...I agree. This is the one thing I am not looking forward to about school starting. I don't have the family or large neighborhood to draw from. I'd rather make a donation to the school.
