Anyone else feels their DH is less than supportive?

My DH keeps bringing home pieces of cake for me (it was so-and-so's B'day and I know you love this kind of cake), chocolate (a customer gave it to us, and I don't really like chocolate as much as you), etc. I find it irresistable, and then I get feeling mad/guilty afterwards. We're both trying to lose weight, and I think part of it is that he's a little envious that I've lost more than him (but I'm home all day while he's at work, being tempted more. Also I have more time to exercise). But sometimes I just wish he wouldn't tempt me so much. Anyone else?

Sometimes I think my DH isn't either, but for different reasons. Like tonight for example, I told him I weighed in and lost another 1.4 pounds and it was like no big deal. :confused3

I think my DH has no idea of the strong hold that food has over me, and how hard it is for me to resist the items I crave. I don't think he does it on purpose, but it is so frustrating when he brings those items into the house. I feel your pain!

I think you are so right. My DH is naturally skinny, always has been so he has no concept of the struggles I have. I never really thought about that in depth, but that is a good point.

My DH is not supportive at all. Says it's impossible to lose weight after 30, eats a meal, then snacks til the next one, gets perturbed if I exercise or suggest a walk, etc - TV is better. He rarely does anything physical. So much so that when I decided to walk the 1/2 I never told him and still haven't. I'd get laughed at. He says WW absolutely does NOT work and is just a scam. For my birthday he bought me a bottle of wine ( I maybe have a small glass a year) and 2 HUGE bags of candy from Sams.

I can't say that my husband isn't supportive but after losing 30 pounds he has never commented on my weight loss. He has told me I look good if I am going some place special but he has always done that. The other night he told me that a friend had lost 30 lbs and said that she looks good and asked me if I agree. I did but I also lost the chance to say "WHAT ABOUT ME?" that was my fault.

omg, I thought it was just mine...brings home a bag of chips, or makes cookies and says things like, "well, you had a rough day, one snack wont hurt" or if we go out, it's "c'mon, we dont go out that often, get an appetizer, or a dessert" aarrgghh!!!! I feel like I waste so much food, 'cause when he leaves, I run whatever treat he got me under water as soon as I can to get rid of the temptation
