Anyone else feeling a tad depressed and jealous today?

I am loving all of the FB and board updates though. I also got made into a flattie which totally and 100% made my day today! I am so jealous and excited for all of the cruisers out there. Have a blast for us stuck back at home!

I'm choosing to be positive - sure it would have been great to go, but everything happens for a reason, and I just couldn't make it. I'm thinking happy thoughts for those that are on it, and hope they have a wonderful time! Can't wait to hear about it and see photos - the next Podcast will be fun to listen to!!

totally jealous...and i'm probably not going to be able to swing podcast cruise 2 either, because i'm already planning a group cruise with my REAL friends.

Yeah, I'm jealous. I'm excited for everyone on the cruise because I know this is a trip they'll remember forever. I can't wait to hear about it.

Yeah....knowing we had our favorite stateroom booked for it then having to cancel added a bit of a sting to it, too. They will all have a blast, though....we can live vicariously through the "Live" posts...that is if they have time to post any!

While they will all be missed by being here in person I am thrilled that we are getting constant updates.

If it is any consolation, it is REALLY HOT here and we are sweating buckets!!!

(But we are having a great time making our computernut friends our real life friends. And we miss not being able to see all of you who can't be here.)


Glad everyone is enjoying the facebook updates from eveyone but they will probably slow down considerably tomorrow afternoon when we leave Port - the internet and roaming charges are a killer. But the updates should pick back up again on Thursday morning when we return to reality.

YES...

But MY reason is because 1 year ago today I left on the MAGIC for 15 nights of and incredible adventure with some of the MOST wonderful (ok... MAGICAL) people you could ever meet... through the Panama Canal.

Today we are all reminiscing and are sad that it is not us that are sailing away today.

I am doing better tonight. I looked at the photos from my cruise 2 months ago and that helped!

I also did some number crunching and realized that if I can save $20 a month between now and the next podcast cruise. . .





I still can't afford it!

But I also asked the family if they would go on the next one and they all turned me down. DD13 said it is bad enough having a Disney Freakazoid for a Mom, she doesn't want to be surrounded by them. Aren't teens great! And DH just gave me this: so I am pretty sure that is a "no". DD9 wasn't home but she LOVES the podcasts and thinks "Mr. Pete" is the greatest so she might go with me. But she has refused to step foot on a boat since our not so great cruise last year.


Hmmmmm. Maybe if I just need to pay for one and find a roommate I could do it.

I had this in there a year or so ago before I was a mod (it was a bit more colorful back then) I have been getting more comments and PM's lately so I figured it was time to put it back in! I don't want anyone to feel bad for reading it wrong!

I'm bummed, but I keep thinking about how much fun everyone on the cruise is having and that makes me happy for them. I'm also looking forward to reading all of the trip reports, listening to the podcast next week AND our cruise next year with our new baby.
