Anyone else dislike really long threads?

Hi all! I don't like really long threads. I mean pages and pages and pages! For example; Say I have a question about the Swan and Dolphin. I should read the FAQ thread. But I end up not reading the entire thread because there are 2,354,775 posts. So I end up either asking my question anyway or starting a new thread. Occasionally someone will reply that the answer to my question is in the FAQ thread. AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHHH! Hence, I dislike really long threads. How about you? S

Sometimes, I too, have a hard time getting through long posts/threads.

Hi ~ long posts are fine ~ they usually have a lot of great information. It's the loooooooooooooooong threads I have difficulty with. The answer to my question is probably in the long thread, but if the thread has hundreds of posts, I usually don't go thru it. S

Sometimes trying to structure a search, for when it is working, is a way to find what you need. I use search all the time, and even though it very frequently is not working, I keep coming back and eventually it runs. And sometimes you ahve to restructure your search a bit if is not found.

I love long post and threads, my only problem is I have to set down my Novel to read all of them
