anyone else combine Palos high tea or dinner with the sureal bath?

I was thinking it may be nice to go to the Palos high tea and follow with the sureal bath. Kinda put us in the romantic mood and then follow-up. Or sureal bath then Palos dinner while still in that romantic mood? Have you guys thought of this?

If it were me doing that, I'd say Palo's first, then the surial bath. It got VERY hot in the steam room (from JUST the steam already in the room - honest! LOL) and it kind of drained what little energy my kids will let me have for the rest of the day. We had planned doing surial first, then Palo's, but we ended up canceling our Palo ressies because of that. Oh well, DH and MIL had tea and the 3 of us had the champagne brunch so I don't feel like I missed too much!

Yes, it DOES take a while to "recover" from the Surial.

While my DH is in very good shape (he runs marathons), he also sweats profusely and easily (sorry if this is too gross). It took him about 2 hours to stop sweating after the Surial.

I booked ours for 4 pm for our last day at sea. By our late dinner seating at 7:45, I think he was presentable . . .

We did the surial about 3 pm and had Palo ressies for 6:30pm. When we returned from Palo, I turned around and DH had fallen asleep in his clothes on the bed. So much for a romantic evening! I think surial and Palo is too much in one day. Spread out the romance!

A suggestion for following up the surial...
book a massage afterwards. Your muscles will be nice and relaxed from all the steam, and you will be able to remain semi-comatose for a while longer.
And don't miss high tea...it was one of my favorite activities on the 7-day!!
